Sand Castle Pools

If you like to keep calling your contractor to get something finished, then you'll love this company. They say they'll call you right back, but don't hold your breath. Weeks later, you'll be doing the calling. AGAIN. At least they seem to be pleasant. But you do need patience.

We called two other "popular" pool builders in Havasu a long with Sandcastle. One never showed and the other made us feel as if he was doing us a favor, and had a rude attitude. Greg showed up and was very informative and attentive to what we expected. He assured us that he would take care of everything for us. What he delivered was an amazing product.

A beautiful center piece to our backyard. Expect some delays, which is to be expected in construction jobs, but when you have someone moving things along it will make it easier. Greg certainly did that and always kept in communication, even when we called him on his days off. We are very excited to start using our new pool this summer.

Sandcastle pools designed our pool in 2019. We received a 3D designed and it came out better than expected. All the workers were very professional & helpful. Our design was pebbletec and love the finish. Travertine was our deck and glad we did. It's used all year around pool since we have gas to heat the pool. Very happy customer.

NO ONE answers. Purchased a pool system through them and have tried dozens of times to get in touch with Josh and have never once received a call back. Go somewhere else!

I had Sandcastle install a pool at my house. At the start they were very helpful (Mike Rogers) gave me what I thought was a fair estimate and a reasonable start date so we made the deposit. They did not start on time and did not start until I asked for my deposit back! Then, they came to do the dig and I did not see them for a month before anything else was done.

They had the worst communication as I was never told anything about what to expect, even after many emails and calls to the office that they never would return! I never got the final walk through to explain how everything works. I think the quality looks OK as of now, but I question it as they never put any rebar in the pool which I was told is necessary.

I would not recommend them as there are plenty of other pool builders that I believe care about their customers. Note: response to the Rebar by owner, All I know is I left for work one day and returned that night and there was no rebar when I left and the gunite was in when I got home. I do not see how that all could have been done in less than 8 hours1

We went around town looking for a pool builder, really liked the initial demeanor of sandcastle (Steve) and what they offered. After over 2 months of trying to contact these people to put a deposit for a dig date, we have given up with them. We were promised a bid that was never received. We contacted sandcastle multiple multiple multiple times and were told they would let Steve know we called.

We haven't received one phone call back after the initial conversation. I even went in to the office and the two people there didn't care to help either. All we wanted was to make a deposit! We know you're extremely busy, but dont promise estimates if you cannot produce them.

We contracted Sandcastle Pools for a estimate and received a response quickly. We received great customer service, 3d pictures of the plans, price and enjoyed the display options in the office. We look forward to the near future having our pool installed by Sandcastle Pools.

Alright, pizza when in a rush. Price is steep for a mini pizza. The wood burning stove makes it fast and tasty if eaten there. Doesn't taste that well when taken home to eat.

From the first dig to the finished product Steve Reid and Sandcastle were informative and communicated every step of the build process on our pool. Steve was very responsive to calls and everyone involved was professional, friendly and helpful. We are very happy with the service provided and would recommend Steve and Sandcastle to anyone considering a pool.

WiSh you could give zero stars, because I would. I was in the market for a swimming pool for my new house in Havasu and after reading some of the other reviews I called Sandcastle. Being from out of town and still working, I was able to set up an appointment on a Saturday. So I drove out on a Friday night (5 hours) and was awake and ready for my 7:30 am meeting on Saturday. Waited until 8 and sent a text to Steve Reid who had made the appointment with me.

No response. Called his cell and left a message at around 8:30, no response to that either. Called and left a message in the business line and it was finally returned on Tuesday by Steve, to which I told him I wanted to talk to the owner and not him. He said okay he would tell him. Today is Friday and no one has ever called me back. Needless to say, they will not be getting my business and I hope if you are reading this review you will think twice before you choose them as well.

If they start out this way, one would have to wonder how the installation of the pool would go as well. Stay away from them! Maybe one day the owner will have the balls to call me and apologize for his rude staff.

I have to applaud Sandcastle for answering the phone 5 minutes after closing. I believe that was the single most important reason they got the business. As stated in recent review, maybe the business (trades) boom has kept businesses from returning calls etc. I don't really know? I first spoke to Steve. He was pleasant and professional enthusiastic and informative.

We set an appointment and everything went very well and smooth. The turnaround time was approx 4.5 months. We were promised 3 months. Not the end of the world since we're not full time residents. Timing for appointments and sign offs had to be coordinated. The contract was for a spec pool, nothing extra or fancy, very straight forward. Steve was very helpful in picking the patterns and colors that would hold up in the desert climate.

Here is where I would normally give a 5 star. A few things in relation to customer service and communication. We ordered specific items to be included in the build. Again nothing expensive or elaborate. We were reassured these items would be included. Shame on us for not looking at the fine print when we signed the contract. We took Steve's word for it that these specific items would be included.

We would have gladly paid extra. Unfortunately the said items were not done as requested. One of them was completed after we pointed it out on a sign off after the re bar had been set. We don't really blame Steve or Sandcastle. I believe the company prides themselves in customer satisfaction. We think too many jobs and somehow we got lost in the mix and the little details got lost. We're still waiting on one last item to be completed that was overlooked. Pool, craftsmanship, matching existing pavers all excellent work. Yes, would still recommend this business.

Great experience. Steve and the rest of the crew are awesome! Steve kept me informed and always returned my calls same day. All the on-site workers were very respectful, extremely nice and very hard workers! I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to build their dream back yard!

Sandcastle Pools was a fantastic company to work with. We just built a new home in the Havasu Foothills, and we were set up with Mike Petto during the construction of the pool. Mike was very responsive with our questions and concerns throughout the entire process. We couldn't be happier with the finished product, along with the follow up work after the job was completed.

We would highly recommend using Sandcastle Pools to anyone else thinking of putting a new pool in, or having any work done to an existing pool. Very professional and easy to work with.

Where do I begin. Easily the worst experience with any professional service I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I would submit a negative 5 if I could. First we were told the job would take 12-14 weeks. try 6 months and that is only because I had to force their hand! The entire six months I was having to harass the salesman to give me updates about when things were getting done.

Every time I was told something would get done, it didn't. I was given an uncountable amount of completion dates on various portions of the project to which ALL of them were not met. I was forced to drive to their office TWICE just to get someone to talk to about the completion of my project. The salesman never responded or always lied to me so I went to the owner. Brock. Brock seemed nice enough and made me feel like he was sorry I had been receiving terrible service and assured me that my project would be a priority.

I went there a full month before my son had his 3rd birthday, which we wanted to have at our house. I was promised it would be done. the salesman called me 2 days before the birthday to tell me that it wouldn't be done on time. I was furious. Then the salesman blamed it on ME. Saying I changed what I wanted so it made him delay his turf order. Unbelievable.

I had to let sandcastle know about ALL of the mistakes and lack of quality on almost every step of the job since they came out to see my project a total of ZERO times. I texted Brock missing equipment pics, left materials for months, incomplete details in order for them to act on it. I was doing THEIR job. They subcontract every part of the job and have no clue when any part will get done since they don't control the contractors who do it. Salesman was the most unprofessional person I have ever had to communicate with. Please.

Please do yourself a favor and use someone. anyone else to do your pool project. This company failed me so many times I felt compelled to leave a review. I NEVER bother to leave reviews unless I had such a horrible experience I would never want someone else to go through.

Sandcastle has built 2 pools for us and we couldn't ask for more! Great original ideas! They get things done! If you need a pool built in Lake Havasu City Sandcastle is the way to go!

Sand Castle pools was an absolute pleasure to work with. Unfortunately we are not full-time residence in Lake Havasu and have had a heck of a time getting a response from almost all trades in regards to doing work for us. Everyone was too busy or simply didn't take the time to respond. Working with Broc and with Sand Castle was like a breath of fresh air.

They were responsive, thorough, professional and we could not be happier with our end result. They provided 3-D renderings of what our backyard could look like and the end result has surpassed every hope and expectation we had! We were not easy clients, we made numerous changes along the way and they accommodated each one without any delay. Since we aren't residents in the area reviews and recommendations were very important to us.

My husband and I felt it was important to share our experience in hopes that it helps you make you backyard dream come true as well. Thank you Broc and Sand Castle for our backyard paradise!

Getting ready to use new pool this weekend and the final results are beautiful! BUT it was a stressful SIX months! No supervision on job site thank god we have cameras so we could call office and let them know WRONG tile. We went with bigger contractor and paid more hoping that this would be a turn key pool.not soooo. Told 10-12 weeks.took over 23! Wish I could have given a 5

Sitting in front of Sandcastle pools waiting for Salesman to come show us plans for pool we will build.he called today and ask us to meet him at 3 pm today we have been here for 45 minutes as we arrived early salesman is a no show and hasn't even bothered to call. so home we will go now and try another pool company next week. ok so about 340 pm Mike the salesman called asking what happened to us.

I told him we were there so nice 230 tried both doors and they were locked and it was dark inside as far as we could tell? He said he was inside working the hole time we were there and his vehicle was parked in dirt on side of building? Now we are rescheduled for tomorrow at 130 this time in our home we will see what happens and I will update my review

We were warned about LHC pool contractors and their lack of professionalism. Sandcastle did not disappoint us. My wife and I made it a point to go to pool companies in person rather than make phone calls to talk about new pool for a house we are building. Sandcastle was one of the companies we went to in person, met the owner, they took our name and number and would be contacted by a salesperson. Anyways.of course no contact. Just blows me away about these companies. Stay tuned to learn about who we used and how it turned out, this is a big job too that we are doing! Good luck Yelp People!

Our pool turned out beautiful but the customer service was not good. We were promised our pool would start on September 1, 2017. We came all the way down to Az from Seattle to be there. And we had put down a deposit to assure us we would be towards the top of the list of pools starting in september. After not seeing or hearing from them after 2 weeks we called them!

Some lame excuse that someone was on vacation and things weren't getting done. Needless to say after excuse after excuse our pool didn't get finished until December! And it isn't yet. We paid them and they promised to have the hand rail in within 2 weeks and it still isn't. And no cover(which was promised) so we can't heat the pool! The pool was supposed to be done in 6 weeks. It is now going on 16 wks.

Sandcastle built our pool last year in LHC, and we couldn't be happier with the workmanship and dealing with the personnel. Brian had a vision for what would look best in our location and it was perfect in every detail. When friends and family visit they call it "the resort". LOVE, LOVE LOVE, our POOL. I would say Sandcastle Pools is one of the best company's I have ever dealt with here in LHC. Thank you Brian for a beautiful design on our pool, & Mike for overseeing the project to completion. All of the staff their have been wonderful to work with, I appreciate how all of their employees and sub-contractors worked so hard to get things done! If you are thinking about putting in a new pool, make sure Sandcastle is 1st on your list to call.

Just finished our pool and have a great experience with Sandcastle. We did our homework and had four LHC pool companies come out for ideas and prices. We liked Sandcastles ideas, price and personnel. After we got started my husband and I both agreed that we had made the right choice. All of the different work teams that came for the various parts of the job were knowledgeable, respectful and did good jobs.

The office staff has been available and did their best to answer our questions. Mike, our job manager, has been on top of it all and taken time to make sure were informed and happy. I would recommend Sandcastle to anyone wanting a quality job without any hassle.
