Aquascapes It's a fact that today the backyard is as much a part of the home design and function as is any other area of the home. In fact, a swimming pool and outdoor living area and recreation area is sometimes more a function of the Southern California lifestyle than the house itself. With so many months of comfortable weather in Southern California it is very common to create a beautiful retreat in the backyard and spend more time outdoors than indoors.

As a Southern California construction, remodeling, and landscape company, we recognize that great service is an integral part of the process and therefore the sale is not completed when the contract is signed but when you are swimming in your pool and enjoying your backyard creation. This means that we are proactive and attend to the details in order to insure that a quality job is done quickly.

Custom Pools

Custom Pools With the different types of pools and options available, sometimes the biggest part of the project is deciding what type of paradise is to be created. No project is to small or too large for Aquascapes. From a simple slide or concrete deck resurfacing to a new residential or commercial pool and landscape installation, we can design the project and construct it.
Remodeling
Report
Remodeling We specialize in remodeling and replastering swimmng pools. Our projects range from simple spas to commercial pools. Remodeling an older swimming pool to a modern self-chlorinating, self-cleaning pool that is automatically controlled by a computer or remotely controlled by the homeowner from anywhere on the property can turn a once ordinary pool into an exciting outdoor entertainment area

Designs With the growing complexity of pools, landscapes, and outdoor living areas in Southern California, people are putting as much thought into the detail and design of their outdoor renovation as they would for an indoor renovation.

It's been 2-1/2 years since the remodel and replaster. Our plaster has started to look ugly. I called Rich out and he bought a guy with him they looked at it and just seemed baffled. I have read sometimes with a pool fill and bad startup things like this can happen. It's a lot of money to see this happen so quickly. I feel like it probably could have been prevented. Still love the remodeled look though.

Tile started to come off within a year, cracks appeared. Rich came over but no followup. Won't return many calls and texts. Very poor workmanship.

Another update- it has been 4 years now with no change to plaster appearance- it still looks like new. I switched to bromine based chemistry and am using less than ever (3-5 lbs/quarter) with almost no pH adjustment, and water stays clear. The spa is still one of the focal points of the yard, and we love seeing and using it. Thanks again Rich! Just an update- almost a year later, and the Spa still looks like the day it was re-done.

I am using very little chemistry (As Rich emphasized, using only what is needed is better for the equipment and plaster). I never have to brush it, and I plan to clean the big filter at the one year mark (1 more month). I still say this is the best pool/spa designer/contractor in Southern CA! Here is my original post: I am so glad I found this company!

I recently purchased a bank-owned property. The large (1,000 + gallons) in-ground spa had been chemically-abused and then neglected. Excessive chemicals and age had caused considerable deterioration of the plaster and tile. While this was great for negotiating a better price on the house, we were then stuck with a real eye-sore and hazard. I got a quote from a well-known pool repair place in O.C., but got discouraged because of the high price. Coordinating visits for the quote was a bit of a hassle because of our location in Corona.

I decided to check for a local source, and found Aquascapes in Corona. The owner, Rich, was very prompt and thorough (a really cool guy, too). He provided samples of colors and tiles, and had many helpful ideas about how to go a great job while staying within my limited budget. In addition, we had a big company party planned with a bit of a deadline, and so we were getting a bit nervous about having enough time to finish before the party.

This turned out to be a non-issue. The workers were polite and efficient, and they cleaned up every step of the way. They finished ahead of schedule (in just 2 days), and Rich was even able to re-wire some control wiring which had been tampered with. The first company who quoted the job wanted to replace all of the controls, lights, some filters and pumps, but Rich and his team were able to trouble shoot and work with the situation, and the system has been purring along beautifully ever since.

I feel the money they saved me in this area alone paid for the re-plaster and tiling. The end result is a real show-piece! My wife was very pleased that what was envisioned and promised turned into a reality. Everyone at our party agreed that the spa plastering and tile work were of a high-end resort quality. It looked fantastic that night with the lights and water feature running.

I give this company the highest rating. It is nice to see that there are still some some companies and artisans left in this country with a high level of both skill and integrity. If I ever do a pool in the future, there will be no doubt about who I call to get the job done right. Update- March 2018- still going strong!
