The company was founded in 1976 by A. John Tredway. Its primary function was the construction of new in-ground swimming pools. Through the years we have evolved into a full service company with a growing emphasis on the retailing of backyard related and home leisure items, all the while maintaining our construction interest. In 1996, we again grew, adding 2, 500 sq ft. to our retail showroom and added billiards as a product line. In August 2000, A. John Tredway decided to explore new opportunities unrelated to the pool industry, and sold the business to its current owner, John Denny.

Tredway has a solid selection of goods, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and a great water testing system to customize your chemical needs. Today we purchased a new set of pool stairs and was impressed at the willingness to help our family during a very hot day. We were able to take the display home as it was the only available. Other pool places would make us wait for the next shipment to come in. Plus they gave us a pen! Who doesn't love a new pen?

My Fiance and I have exclusively used Tredway to assist us with opening, closing, and maintaining our above ground pool that we inherited with the home we purchased last year. We knew nothing about owning and maintaining a pool and were a little overwhelmed. All employees we interacted with last year were SO helpful and explained things in such a way that was easy to understand.
The other day, Jon David helped refresh us on how to get our sand pump ready for the year and gave us lots of great tips on how to keep our pool healthy. Thank you so much for all your help, guys!

My parents have had a Sundance spa for over 20 years, and I've always maintained it for them, Treadway has kept it running with amazing service and repairs all that time. I was around for the service call today and reluctantly the tub may be on its last leg. However the technicians Eric and Blake were very knowledgeable on where to go from here and gave us every option on what next steps to take. Cindy from there sales team was also very helpful. We will definitely stay with Treadway in our next spa purchase, and be a loyal customer in the future. Thanks for your services treadway!

From beginning to end, the Tredway team "over" communicated, "over" serviced, and "over" achieved. We really have to thank the entire Tredway team for all that they did. Sure, John is who you will talk to the most regarding initial design, $$, schedule, etc., but it is Darryl, Ray, Joe, and the rest of the guys that are moving the dirt and installing.
All of Tredway endured my constant questions. And while the final design isn't dramatically different from the first time we met, the team was nimble enough for a few changes. Make sure you do your research.do you want fiberglass or vinyl liner (we chose fiberglass). Chlorine or salt water.etc. Even though the construction is completed, the service has not stopped. I visit Jenna and Lauren a few times a week to check my water. They are patient and answer all of my questions.
