Being an insurance agent for nearly 20 years and heavily connected to the real estate market, I have multiple contacts for various things Mortgage Brokers, Pools, Roofs, General contracting, Landscaping, etc. I have owned my home for 11 years. I knew from our neighborhood reviews in Cordillera Ranch this company had a bad reputation based on their previous experiences from their many negative comments. The fact that we were duplicating a pool they had previously built was what convinced our builder to use them. They wanted to overcharge and add what they deemed extras even though it was exactly as the previous pool.
I had expressed my trepidation to our builder based on bad reviews. We are nine (9) months in and still having issues getting a properly functioning pool. We have had to request them to acid wash a few times; they installed rusty screws and had to replace them on two occasions; we had a waterfall that did not work properly and they attempted to repair it two times; the light was barely installed with one rusty screw and eventually was tangled in the polaris and ripped out of the wall; we waited for water/fire bowls for eight months to which we received three different excuses for delays from three different sources; they tried to offer their standard free month of cleaning and after they left on two occasions I went out to look and see the steps were not swept of dirt--I cleaned them; they have had the audacity to ask us four times now if we want maintenance service with them.
Not no, but HECK NO! Why would we subject ourselves to more broken things they touch. The fact that they charge 2X what other pool maintenance services charge plus they add extras is a joke!! Each time something went wrong we would hear nothing but excuses and blame onto others. That was real professional. Not once have we met with or heard from the owner(s) during the past nine months when any of these issues occurred. $130K and a big up yours. Thanks a lot, Artesian. PISS-POOR service.
