I'm adding to my previous review and have bumped up stars to 3, which is the average of 1 and 5. After the poor review (thank you Google), I was called by Gary from Wagner Pools. He scheduled an appointment, followed up, was on time, and very helpful. A very good professional. Unfortunately, Joe is the service person and he never called to apologize but it seems from all the feedback that he's the one with poor customer service. Seems like an opportunity for the owner to do some serious coaching.

Previous review: I disregarded the poor feedback I'd seen because it was old but unfortunately I suffered a similar fate to all of those that were left waiting for Joe. I called the office to see what had happened and they said I'd get a call back. I never did. I asked for them to call to reschedule. They said yes.
This was last Wednesday. It's Monday and I'm still waiting. My hope is that instead of a nasty reply, which is what poor reviews seem to have been met with, the person responsible apologizes and fixes their internal issues.

The company does excellent work, but the communications could be better. We love the pool and the company also maintains it for us. It would have been a perfect experience (5 starts) if they had a better person to interface with clients. The person we dealt with was not always easy to reach and was difficult to communicate with at times. The pool itself is beautiful and we love it. Update: Aug. 2019 - we have really been upset with Wagner due to their lack of communication.
They opened the pool this spring on a date when we were out of the country and they did not let us know they were coming. Our housekeeper was staying here with her 3 year old child and she send us a photo fo the open pool. This is unacceptable because if the child had drowned, it would have been a tragedy that was caused by a serious lack of communication.
When the pool was opened, a very expensive part was found to need replacement and we were not home to verify the problem or to know how, why or what had happened. We are looking to switch pool companies for the maintenance of our pool.

I hired Wagner Pools to build a high end swimming pool project, patio, retaining walls, and pool house in the late fall of 2013. I had always wanted to build a nice pool project for my family and for entertaining. I have many friends that have used Wagner and they all told me over the years that Wagner is the best. They lived up to there reputation.
I had a somewhat difficult site that proved to not be a problem for Wagner. They constructed a 19' x 40' rectangle, gunite swimming pool with a raised spa that was veneered with fieldstone to match my my Wagner installed retaining walls. The pool and spa are controlled by a state of the art computer control system that I can control from my iPhone.
This enables me to turn the spa heat on as I'm on my way home from work, which is wonderful. I installed a recessed automatic cover to keep the pool locked up when not in use and the heat in. I installed their in-floor cleaning system, ozone/uv sanitizing, Tahoe Blue pebble finish, LED lighting, and underwater speakers. All were well worth it. Wagner's masonry work is top notch and looks beautiful.
There was town required site drainage that was required to be installed and Wagner took care of this with ease. The pool house tops off the project by creating another recreation area to relax in away from the house. My family and I have very much been enjoying relaxing, exercising, and kids playing all summer long. I highly recommend Wagner!
