Vineyard Pools

TLDR - 5 stars! I can't say enough great things about Vineyard Pools. We just finished our spa and pool with them and couldn't be happier. Detailed review - I started my pool research around January/February 2021. We lived in the Bay Area and were moving into a new home in Clovis around May 2021. I received two pool vendors from our home builder. Vineyard was not one of them but was recommended by friends who used Vineyard a few years ago and had a great experience.

I received three quotes/proposals from local pool companies. Vineyard stood out by far for the following reasons: Design Professional and easy to understand quote Pricing Vineyard was the only vendor I met with where Jeff (co-owner/designer) from Vineyard sits down with the homeowner and sketches out the pool/spa on the spot. This really helped because Jeff provided insights and asks questions that you might not have thought about.

Once Jeff finished his preliminary drawings, Vineyard provided a quote. The quote was super detailed yet easy to understand. The other vendor's quotes were either handwritten or hard to understand what I was paying for. And finally, Vineyard was also the least expensive out of the three quotes I received. Based on the above, it was an easy decision to select Vineyard.

After selecting Vineyard, I was super impressed by them through the construction to finalization stages. Kathryn (construction coordinator) is a rock star! I've dealt with a lot of vendors in the past and I would say she is on my short list of true professionals. Kathryn is super super responsive on emails/phone calls, provides thorough answers to your questions, and makes sure she follows up on anything.

Thank you Kathryn for all of your support during this process! I also appreciated how Jeff properly managed my expectations in terms of timeline. This project took almost four months, but because Jeff set those expectations upfront, I didn't have any issue with the time it took to construct a pool/spa. Vineyard also checked in on the project at each phase and were very professional when coming in and out of the backyard, which I really appreciated.

Building a pool/spa is a big investment that will last decades and decades. And being that this was our first pool, we wanted to make sure we selected the right vendor. I am so glad we selected Vineyard. They are true professionals, do the right thing (everything is proper to code/ordinance), and built a beautiful pool/spa that we will enjoy for many years to come.

My husband and I moved here from Seattle to be close to our grandsons. The one thing I really wanted at out new home was a pool for the boys to play in. The first time I walked into the office, I had a feeling Vineyard was going to be a perfect fit for us. They are very talented staff. Kathryn, Sarah, Jeff and Ben were extremely helpful from beginning to end.

I would call with questions because this was our first pool. I thought for sure they would think I was nuts, but each question or concern was answered and we were treated with respect and kindness. We watched and talked with neighbors getting their pools done with other companies and we are very happy we had Vineyard do ours. All of their subs were amazing as well. Awesome experience and it turned out so well. Our grandsons love it and many family memories will be made in our new backyard.

We got proposals from 3 different companies. Vineyard worked with us and provided the design that we were looking for along with a competitive price. It took us about a year to come back to them with the agreement but once we did they were able to get us started faster then expected. Once the build started it did slow down somewhat and took longer then expected.

At this time they are very busy and have many pools that they are in process with. This did cause some issues with responses to follow up questions and concerns that we did have. We still are waiting on a few finishing items but with the current situation of product availability and demand, Vineyard preformed well. Overall we are satisfied with the outcome of our pool. It is not perfect but they continue to work with us to ensure that our issues are addressed.

Vineyard Pools is a business like no other. From the first time we met and they put our dream out on a big screen totally envisioning what my husband and I wanted, to the finer details we got to choose with Sarah. Vineyard Pools made every step of the way an experience to remember. I thrive on updates and they were amazing updating us every step of the way, prepping us for what was to come and what to expect.

Any and all questions were answered very quickly. The girls are at the office are the sweetest and friendliest, they make you feel right at home, yes even in the middle of a pandemic. Ben and Mike are just as amazing, explaining in detail all, and coming to check on things on his own. Kathryn is such a sweetheart too. The love and care is shown through their work and the way they are.

If you're wanting a pool, Vineyard is the way to go. So many beautiful options that are included, such a friendly staff and such attention to detail, you can't go wrong. I've already told my friends about them, even random strangers (I'm one of those that can talk to anyone anywhere about anything). When needing a pool, look no further, this is the place to go.

During the "Covid" year Vineyard Pools did a very good job in designing and putting a pool in my back yard. They had good ideas, such as a waterfall, lighting for the pool at night, concrete around the pool, and a basic creation of an affordable pool. It turned out great and now the hot summers of the Valley are tolerable. Things didn't always go as planned but they called me every Friday night to personally give me an update on the progress. The true selling point was they were honest and easy to work with. I would recommend them.

My husband and I could not be happier with our experience in having Vineyard build our pool. Jeff was our designer, he is very knowledgeable and attentive to his clients' requests and preferences. He went out of his way to help us save and transfer 2 small trees from our backyard to our frontyard during excavation. Kathryn and Sarah in the office were easy to reach and accommodating.

They gave us updates in a timely manner. In less than 8 weeks, our pool is done, and that's during a pandemic and multiple wildfires. We highly recommend Vineyard Pools! (Project was completed by Vineyard Pools September 2020)

We had a great experience working with Vineyard Pools. There Mission statement says "to set the highest standards in pool construction in Central California with excellent customer service, experienced design, reliable support, and high quality build methods. We give every customer the most value for their dollar, making us the clear pool builder of choice in the Fresno / Clovis area." We experienced this and are very happy with the result.

This review is 3-4 years overdue. Oops. I had the pleasure of working with John. He's super friendly so easy to talk and listen to as well. From other pool people I heard it's best to put the pool pump furthest away from any bedroom windows. Initially John drew up the pump close to the house because of the button to turn on the pool lights and it was modified all the way in the back.

Holy cow the pump is loud--Pentair Clean and Clear. Being a light sleeper does not help with this pump running. They outsource different companies for the projects like there's an excavation with a small Bobcat, fence guys, Pebbletec (their guys?), and concrete guys. If there's any damage I'd let John know and he would either replace or offer to pay for it.

I had one rose bush and 4-5 bushes obliterated for the pool install. A swimming pool is worth it in Fresno's heat! I liked how they have a guy (a secondary party company) who comes out to service the pool after install. I would drill him as many questions as possible. He's friendly and knowledgable. If you're going to clean your own pump cartridges wear long sleeves!

The fiberglass is such a nuisance on your skin save yourself duct tape time that's what I used to try to get the material off my skin. Swimming pool is expensive choose a company with friendly people like John at Vineyard Pools to take care of you and your family.

The whole Vineyard Pools team is fabulous. Thank you Jeff, Ben, Sarah & Kathryn for providing a "best in class" pool building experience! Vineyard Pools provides superior customer service. My wife & I highly recommend Vineyard Pools! We can't wait to enjoy our new pool this summer.

Vineyard Pools is amazing! I had a great experience with them constructing our pool! Communication is great and is what stood out to me from the very beginning! Mike was very helpful and kind while helping us design our pool. Katherine and Sara were very professional and kept me updated every week! From start to finish Ben (owner and our designer/contractor) and the rest of the office staff have been amazing. Building a pool in the middle of a pandemic, closures, etc was not easy. Also who would've thought everyone had the same idea (to build their own vacation destination in their backyard) but nonetheless, vineyard pools made the process pleasant. Ben showed up on day 1 to go over pool design, was quick and responsive in drafting a 3D digital design for us, and listened to what we wanted.

He was kind, and extremely helpful especially when it came to our special design requests. After looking at other builders/quotes we knew Vineyards was the most professional and reasonable. Sarah sat down with us to design our pool, was honest about what tiles/stones/flooring/decking stamps aligned with our vision the best and went to work. Kathryn was awesome, always calling every Friday with an update and answering our million questions with nothing but patience.

The building process was smooth, at times delayed because of COVID but Ben always kept us in the loop and was quick to answer our texts when we had questions (still is, thanks Ben!). Fast forward to today, the pool is exactly what we envisioned, from the water features, stone, pebble, to the dramatics (we wanted drama), it's exactly what we wanted. It's a picture perfect oasis that we'll get to enjoy for years to come.

Of course with any new major build you may find imperfections that need to be fixed or addressed post build. Vineyards is transparent with that possibility but are always willing to make things right. They're big on their customer satisfaction. All in all I'd recommend Ben for design and the company itself to build. I wish this company nothing but success.

We are new to CA and chose Vineyard Pools to build our backyard oasis. From start to finish the owners, staff, and workers were incredibly friendly and on top of the process. They did a remarkable job at keeping us informed via detailed step-by-step emails to explain, each portion of the pool installation. Also, throughout the process, the company owners would come by to check the work being done, to ensure each portion of the job was finished to proper standards.

Even with widespread setbacks due to COVID, the timeliness of completing the job was near flawless. Thank you for a wonderful and stress-free experience! The end result of our pool is truly beautiful. I highly recommend Vineyard Pools for your pool/spa build.

Vineyard pools was great from beginning to end! Each staff member communicated with us the entire time and never did we feel as if we didn't know the next process during our build. They are very easy to work with and would definitely recommend to any wanting to build!

My wife and I wanted to renovate our old pool. We met with a couple contractors and immediately connected with Jeff when he came for an estimate. We decided to move forward with Jeff and his team and couldn't be happier. He and his brother made adjustments and recommendations based on their experience and the pool turned out great. They were easy to work with and the weekly email updates by their team was outstanding. I can't recommend Vineyard Pools enough.

We were referred to Vineyard Pools from a family friend who had their pool done by the company. As soon as we called to inquire, one of the pool designers, Jeff met at our house within a week and had a design ready to go not long after. He saw our vision and brought it to life! This company was great to work with. They always provided weekly updates by phone and email.

Everyone we encountered during the process of the pool completion were professional and super informative. If we ever had a question they quickly responded. We love how our pool turned out and couldn't be happier we went with Vineyard.

Working with Vineyard Pools was a positive experience every step of the way! Sarah and Catherine do an excellent job of running the office and keeping clients informed weekly of the progress and next steps in the plans. Ben the owner would check in on site several times a day during each step of the process to oversee that everything was going as it should.

Our project was completed in a timely manner and within the timeline they anticipated in our project contract. We would absolutely recommend them! We can't wait for all of the fun memories we will make in our beautiful Vineyard Pool!

Wow, I wish I needed a new pool! I sent a web inquiry to initiate assistance and heard back within 24 hours from Kathryn at Vineyard who was knowledgeable and helpful in providing two answers to separate questions. While Vineyard Pools was not able to assist with my pool repair request, they did refer me to another qualified local contractor for the repair work and were able to help with my second request. Again, many thanks for the return call, even when you couldn't help with my main request and that your associate Kathryn was so helpful and professional. Again, if I needed a pool, you'd be the first place I'd call!

We did a lot of research with different pool builders in the Fresno/Clovis area and after meeting with Mike and Sarah and seeing the design room we were sold. They make it so easy for you to install a pool. They are not only organized but walk you through each step of the way. When there were hiccups (as expected in any installation) they were there for us just a phone call away. We are so happy with our new pool and we highly recommend Vineyard.

Called for an estimate in August they said they could come out on Sept 24, here it is Sept 26 and still no word. Glad I reached out to multiple pool builder's. Signature pool and spa came out right away and had my design ready in 1 week. Without signing any paperwork.

We hired Vineyard to install a pool in our somewhat complicated yard. We had a lot of existing landscape that had to be moved, and we had several rain delays due to the very wet spring season. Despite the pool taking a little longer than expected, our pool is GORGEOUS! It turned out exactly as we wanted, and every person who worked on our pool was polite and customer oriented. Mike and Ben were easy to contact whenever we had questions.

Poor service after pool was installed. Never heard from them after the pool as installed, not all equipment working properly, never tried to fix. Second salt cell is now not working and they refuse to replace. Would not recommend working with them. Way too expensive of a project not to have the support afterwards.

This was our first pool. We got bids from several companies and met with their sales people. Ben from Vineyard was by far the most creative and realistic. He was honest and straight forward. The staff at Vineyard Pools was very helpful and knowledgeable. They explained everything step by step and kept us updated weekly. Anytime we ever called they where extremely helpful and accommodating.

We absolutely Love our pool. Its been a year now. It is everything we hoped for and more. We are constantly getting compliments about the design and quality of our pool. Vineyard pools is a very organized well run company. They stand behind everything they do. We had a wonderful experience and we Highly recommend them. We wish more companies were like Vineyard Pools. They are a class act.

This is my second pool with Vinyard pools. Both times I did my reasearch and acquired multiple bids. I am pleased to say I found the best company both times. Save your self time and just hire them! Best customer service you can imagine. They keep you informed Throughout the entire process. Fast, clean, organized, Professional and very detail oriented company. Oh, their office staff is also amazing and ready to help!

I had several pool contractors bid my pool and hot tub. I chose Vineyard based on design, professionalism, and recommendations provided by friends that had used Vineyard in the past. My pool is not quite done yet but so far it has been a very well coordinated and thorough project. Jeff is a wizard on the computer during the design process and easily makes changes on the spot to ensure that his customers get what they want.

His foreman for the project has been texting me every step of the way to let me know what was happening and what to expect in the days to come. So far everything seems to be going well. I will update this post when it is complete. UPDATE. Pool is complete. It has been done since March and we love it. Everything turned out as expected and Vinyard has been great about fixing any minor issues I had (just needed to remind them a couple times).
