I really appreciate JB's pools and ponds. They are reliable and the quality of service is great. Their prices are fair.

I must tell you about these people my jaquzzi had been broken for over 2 weeks my regular pool guy fixed it twice but it was never repaired i finally called the owner dave who the next day sent his repair guy who immediatly discovered what my guy had done wrong and after leaving to get part repaired it withen 3 hours start to finish definatly a customer for life!

Samuel and Dave came out to install a new Filter system, electrical box and heater for my moms pool and spa. They were on time and explained everything that they were going to do, my mom and i so we felt involved in the process. They came out quick after being contacted, the demolished the old equipment and installed all the new equipment within 2 days that included putting a new concrete slab in for the equipment.

Before they left they gave us a run down of the system and how everything worked, they listened to our questions and answered all of them we appreciated that. We will call and use them again if we need more equipment or repairs in the future.

I have requested a quote for an estimate to clean out my 2000+ gal Koi Pond over 6 times! That's stopping by their office twice and calling 4 separate times! Each time they said they would get back to me within a day or two! Clearly they don't want my business or they are way to busy! They don't even know me! Why would anyone call them!

JB's Pools and Ponds has been my pool resource for over 12 years and I will not change. They are very knowledgeable and have resolved all my pool issues. Everyone is courteous, professional, and most importantly competent. My latest purchase is a Prowler 930 pool cleaner. They gave me the different options to replace my Polaris of 35 years. This cleaner is amazing and the best purchase I have ever made. I clean my own pool. With the Prowler, I do not have to brush or vacuum, it does the floor, walls, and steps and cleans better than I could.

JB pool installed all new equipment one year ago today and Dan was my contact and He was great I have no complaints I had a small problem that was my fault and I called him he was out within two hours that is great Service. I am very happy

JB's did such a great job with helping me select the right equipment for my pool. And they continue to always be willing to answer any questions I call and ask. Will not go anywhere else for my pool needs!

Been burning firewood from JBs for years. Let me tell yeah, this is some high quality firewood that you just can't find anywhere else these days. I got some red oak firewood from JBs to ring in the new year for warmth and ambience. Kept the house warm and cozy especially when stuck inside during COVID.

Don't let the appearance of this place fool you, it's a great little shop with experienced employees. If you are just starting to figure out how to manage your pool upkeep, start here as they are a wealth of info. Prices are cheaper than Amazon. You wont be disappointed shopping here.

Fantastic spot for firewood. Loaded up an entire truck bed for a trip recently. Good price and for a wonderful mixture of wood.

I pulled in, missed the sign "honk and service will come to you." A gentleman helped me with loading my truck up with some almond and oak firewood! Looking forward to using my fireplace tonight! Also, service was great, fast, and the gentleman was very kind! I'll be back soon.

Best pool supply and installation company in the area. They always have what I need and at great prices. Dan knows his stuff and does the cleanest well thought out installations.

I used to support this business because of the great prices, but will no longer be doing so after finding out that they refuse to wear masks during covid. They are clearly violating health codes and putting All of us in danger. If then can't put on a mask for the safety of their consumers, then that tells me that they don't case about them!

NO MASKS! Kept trying to get closer and closer to me. RUDE! This business is breaking health code. Never coming back!

Great business, great people. I've been using them for equipment, supplies, water testing, and advice for pool care for many years. Also pond plants, when in season. Recommend!

I think it is time to add a 2019 review. ---I had JB's rebuilt my pond about 10 years ago after a so-called relative badly botched the job. Since that time they have been both servicing my pond and advising me on changes to make over time that have resulted in a beautiful backyard focus point with the serene sound of the waterfall that drowns out the increasing freeway noises.

Whenever I am in a freak-out mode about something, they have been extremely responsive and patient. When I began to travel frequently, they helped me place an auto feeder on my pond. The koi are now 10 years old, beautiful, and giant. Without JB's none of this would be possible. Great people, wonderful, consistent service.

David and his crew did an awesome job rebuilding my pond. He was here almost daily checking the progress and his guys were top notch. There's nothing to say but "thank you" for a great job, guys. If l could give six stars I would have!

Dan from JB Pools just redid our equipment for our pool. I am in the construction industry and have had others do work that are clients. Dan fixed everything. Our pool has never worked as well even since construction. The contractor did things wrong. The way it is setup our electrical bill has actually gone down significantly and the pools runs like never before. The work is amazingly clean and even the painting of the pipes looks like it was done in a factory. The best work ever seen or done on my pool.

Came here not for the pool supply, but because I heard they had quality wood. Saw the palettes stacked up and figured it was cheap but large quantities. Instead a found a firewood connoisseur that imports wood from around the States to use for burning and cooking. Not only that they have the wood palettes used for smoking in the Traeger style grills (which I happen to have).

I don't know the name of the man who helped me but he seemed like he ran the place. He was not only helpful but VERY informative. I came away feeling educated and excited to try out my purchase of Juniper wood mix containing some long burning and some aromatic pieces. The wood is not cheap by any means, but I left feeling like I got something high quality for what I paid for. I think I found my Wood guy

Our pool had very little pressure and we didnt know why. We first stopped at Leslie's Pools for advice and the guy was not helpful. We then visited JBs and we spoke with Lorenzo. He said they would call us back the following Mon to schedule an appointment to check our problem and train us on our equipment. Monday passed and no call, so I call Thurs to make an appointment.

The lady said she would call to find out when they would be available to stop by. About 30 mins later, my husband calls telling me that JB just called telling him that they'll be at our place in 30 mins. We expected to schedule an appt with them, not have them call us to tell us that they were coming NOW! Anyway, after the mixup, we got an appt and Lorenzo stopped by, diagnosed and fixed the really minor issue, on top of helping us to learn about our equipment.

Though the scheduling mix up could've been fixed with a better, more organized system, all in all, we were very happy with Lorenzo and would use them again. Plus, their store, though smaller than Leslies, is better stocked. We go here now for our chemicals.

The quality of my pool water had declined significantly and the heater was not working at normal rpms. After a couple of weeks trying to solve the problem I visited JB's Pools and they thoroughly tested my water sample and quickly determined that my phosphate level was so high the water would not hold chlorine and that the filter probably needed cleaning.

They were right, and after applying the treatment they gave me and cleaning the filter as instructed, the quality of the water is now the best I've seen in a long long time and the heater works at normal rpm levels. Thanks JB's!

Dave is a super cool and chill guy. He is very patient to explain pool cleaning technology to customers and takes initiative on pointing you in the right direction. With a great amount of expertise he is able to ask questions to pinpoint technical issues with your equipment and makes an effort to provide you with a cost-effective solution. Clearly, he is honest and does not oversell or overprice. Strongly recommend.

JB's Pools & Ponds, Inc. are in every way a very unique and professional company. For months I had appointments with other companies to fix my pond. We would set up a date to get a price to work on my Koi pond and I would show and the person from the company would not. This happened three times with three different companies. JB's Pools & Ponds, Inc. set up a date to price the job and they were there on the day.

I am very happy with the work and professionalism of JB's Pools. The owner, David, his manager, Dan, and the technician who did the equipment installation are reliable, helpful, and of the utmost integrity. I have an older home in the area, and had JB's Pools install new pool/spa equipment. I paid a fair price. Everything went very smoothly, and the work was done in a timely manner.

They spent time making sure I was completely comfortable operating the equipment. It is my pleasure to refer JB's Pools to my family and friends, or anyone who wants to remove the worry out of hiring a pool company.

This place has been a lifesaver. Being a first time pool owner I had no idea how to take care of my pool. The owner (Dave) is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me to master my own pool care. The prices are lower than the local bigger chain stores and comparable to online. I do not often write reviews but this place is the reason people miss small businesses.

They remember me and my daughters every time we come in and go above and beyond to be helpful. They also will not try to sell you or even recommend anything you don't need. I have no idea how this spot wasn't on yelp yet because it has been around as long as I can remember. JB's pool is truly a gem and one of the last great small businesses. Don't let the small size fool you either. They have a lot in stock and anything they don't have they will get by the following business day.

Our experience with this pond service has been a life-saver. After our historic koi/waterlily pond was redone to better hold water & improve the filtering system by an other company from out of the area, we began to have serious problems with the filtering system and algae. We made numerous pool/pond contacts & finally found JB's Pools & Ponds who understood our system and were willing to work with us.

They showed us how to operate the cleaning process ourselves to save us the cost of them always having to clean it. When my husband was recovering from surgery, we were able to hire them on a monthly basis to maintain the pond until he was able to resume. During the hot summers they troubleshoot water clarity issues, experimenting with chemicals until the proper balance is found.

They are a trusted and fair quality service that we truly depend upon, especially when we are out of town for several weeks at time or unable to do our own routine maintenance. We would recommend then unequivocally.
