GRG Pool & Spa

Fixed pool heater that was 1.5 yrs old. Power would not turn on. Went through manufacturers warranty and used GRG. Gary replaced the power transformer and few other things. Very prompt and professional. Fixed it while I was working all day (WFH). I highly recommend GRG and I would use them again for my pool servicing needs.

Prompt, Professional and Polite! It was great to work with GRG Pool & Spa. Pool repair companies are surprisingly flooded with work during Covid containment and continuing. It's very difficult to get anyone to come out to give an estimate for a new repair job. But we had an urgent pool pump repair need and were really stressed about it given the situation with pool repair companies now.

When we contacted GRG Pool & Spa, they understood our situation and worked well with us to get our pool pump back up and running. Gary personally came out to assess the problem, gave us an estimate, and followed up on the repair. Chris was our interface and guided us through every step of the process, including calming our nerves! We are very grateful to, and heartily thank, Gary and Chris and GRG Pool & Spa!

I had to go through hell with another pool person to get to Gary and his team. I'm an idiot, and I hired a pool contractor that wasn't licensed and didn't know what he was doing. After many lies from the other pool guy, I called Zodiac Pool Supplies(they wholesale pool parts to resellers) and they gave me Gary's info. 4 stars instead of 5 because there was confusion regarding the initial diagnostic fee. I was more than happy to pay it(and I did) but didn't like that I was told two different things. I highly recommend using GRG Pool & Spa.

We were in need of a pool remodel. Our pool was leaking and the rocks that were put on the pool were cracked and falling off the edge. Our pool was built 17 years ago and it was in the shape of a 50 year old pool. I reached out to several Pool Companies and actually Interviewed 5 of them. Gary From GRG was very consistent and patient with us during the process.

We decided to use him because he made us feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable time of having a pool that was in need of major help. Price had ZERO to do with our choice and even so he was very consistent in his pricing with all the other estimates we received. We based our decision on trust and his word of what he said he could do. Everything he said was exactly what was done and then some.

He was always available. If I called him, he either answered or called me back in 5 minutes. We could not be happier with his results. I do not ever like to recommend contractors to anyone because of what can happen, But I would never hesitate to recommend GRG Pools to anyone in need of a pool or a remodel of an existing pool

Love working with these guys. Gary knows his pools and helped us understand how to operate our expansive pool (8 pumps, 3 filters, 2 spas, a water fall and a main pool). Along with helping us setup the equipment, Gary has also replaced / upgraded our equipment along the way. Having bought a foreclosure, Gary has been a great asset to help keep our pool pristine. Well we found a good one here! Apparently our control panel went out. Was going to cost 900.00 to replace it. Gary was able to salvage a part of the control panel from a old panel they had. And fix ours saving us $700! Who does that? Thank you so much for helping us :-

Made an appt for them to come out and make an estimate on remodel/repair for my pool. Appt window came and went & Greg never showed. I called about 90 minutes after the end of the appt window and left a vm. Got a call back that the "day fell apart" and could they reschedule. Didn't bode well for me so I'll be going with one of the other companies. Can't believe they didn't call to resched, etc until I called to inquire.

I found GRG via Jandy's web site for warranty work, my 15 month old Jandy pump motor was going out. I called GRG and spoke with Chris, I explained the situation and asked if Gary could do the work, I told her I am really OCD, lol. During scheduling she was very professional kept me informed of the schedule and said she would have Gary do the repair. Gary showed up to do the work, he was very professional and just seemed like a really nice professional.

I sat and talked to him during the repair, not to oversee his work but just because of my DIY curiosity on how things work. He did not seem to mind, I also got to pick his brain on general pool things. Again, he was very careful, professional, clean, and overall a nice guy! I would absolutely recommend GRG, especially Gary if you can get him scheduled to do your work.

Clearly he cares about his customers and takes pride in his company! Not that I want anything else to break, but if something goes wrong I am calling GRG. Highest recommendation! Thank you Gary for dealing with my OCD and fixing my pump!

We worked with Gary at GRG Pool and Spa to resurface our pool and make repairs to our spa. We switched from plaster to Stonescape. We are very pleased with the result. Gary was easy to work with and extremely patient during our extended selection process. Once we made up our mind, his crew arrived and the entire project was completed in less than 30 days. The quality of the work was excellent. I recommend GRG Pool and Spa unconditionally.

GRG is currently building a new pool, deck, and hardscape for me. They are about 75% completed. Thought I would leave a review during the process, as that's when it it most stressful for the homeowner. So far, everything moving along great. I have made many changes during the build, some suggested by Gary. GRG has handled everything I have thrown at them very well. Can't give the 5 stars yet, as they are not finished.

I will send a final review when completed. When I was considering GRG, I read all of the reviews first. Now I understand why so many great reviews. Gary and his crew treat your job as if it their own home. They are very attentive to detail, and quality. I will check back when completed, however at this point, very happy with what I see, and would definitely recommend GRG. Update: Pool and hardscape is completed.

Everything is absolutely great. A few small issues along the way, Gary always was attentive, and quick to make adjustments. Never any uncomfortable moments as we all get sometimes with contractors. And I am very particular about everything. We have had family and friends over since pool was completed. Lots of complements. 100% recommend GRG. Update: 5 stars.they deserve it

Gary is very good at Troubleshooting. He clearly understands the electrical process of a pool system. He is not the cheapest but you always get what you pay for! Quality meant alot to us. Have been using GRG for 8 years.

Our pool was a mess, we called, and Gary scheduled us right away, he came out, fixed the problem quickly, and offered us helpful hints on how to clean our very green pool ourselves. We followed his advice and ended up with a sparking pool. He was honest, efficient, friendly, and reasonable priced. We will definitely call on him again if our pool needs repair, or service.

We are customers of 2 years with GRG. Excellent service, honest and upfront about necessary repairs and optional fixes. Great communication between our home warranty company (2-10 Home Warranty), GRG and us the homeowners. Out of warranty items were very fair and affordable fixes at GRG's rate. Courteous, clean, timely and professional services from GRG.

No need for us to ever shop around for pool repair/maintenance services again. As 12 year pool owners, we've experienced many negative interactions with other companies. There's nothing negative we can say about Gary, Chris or GRG.

We had GRG do our pool remodel a couple months back. Gary and his team did an awesome job! I had bids from several contractors, but after meeting with Gary I felt very confident he was the right choice. Our job consisted of performing a leak detection test (our request), Rock repair/repaint, and replaster. The team came in each morning got their work done left each day without leaving a mess.

Job Timeline Day 1 - drain pool Day 2 - demo Day 3 - repair/repaint rocks Day 4 - Tile installation Day 5 - off Day 5 - mini pebble installation Day 6 - pressure wash / cleanup / pool refill Day 7 - off waiting pool to fill Day 8 - filter clean (startup) I would highly recommend GRG to anyone considering a pool repair or remodel.

Once again I had GRG pool and spas out to fix a problem with my pool. My regular poll guy said my pump was out and would cost between 6and 800 but like always I only trust GRG. They came out today and it was a bad motor capacitor. He replaced it service call, labor and part fixed in probably 30mins and only $160 total! THANK YOU highly recommend them and only wish they did cleaning at my area.

Thank you GRG Pools! Outstanding job on my pool. I used All American pools for a few of my repairs and they made my pool worse! GRG came in and fixed all the mess All American did, and now my pool runs better than it ever has!

My pool was old, went cheap and had it painted. Bad mistake, overtime the paint looked terrible. Finally decided to do the right thing and re-plaster and tile. Called Gary.he came over gave me an estimate on re-plastering / re-tiling. Gary and his folks did an awesome job.! His folks showed up when they said they would show, did a great job across the board, from demo, tile and plastering.! Very reasonable pricing.! Very professional group.and I highly highly recommend his services.!

Gary at GRG is Great! Gary and his team built my pool from start to finish. He and his staff were very professional and very patient with my wife and I. We had a hard time picking out different products for our hardscape but they had tons of suggestions and options to choose from. The project moved along with minimal issues with a build this big. Gary was attentive to my concerns about the build and returned my calls in a timely manner.

I have scheduled maintenance and service since the completion of my pool and Gary and his staff have always bent over backwards to accommodate my needs. They give a very practical time frame for service unlike other big companies. I would definitely recommend GRG to anyone thinking of building a pool, maintenance issues or remodeling.
