They have always been very kind and very helpful to me here. They are not the cheapest but if I was going to install another inground pool this is who I'd use. Mr. Anderson has always shot me straight and taken the time to explain things. In fact the last 2 times he suggested I do something simple myself rather than pay him. Even told me how to do it. Good folks : Another day another wonderful experience. I'll be back

We are in the market to install a pool and contacted Anderson for a price. Nikki came out and was very professional. Promised us a quote by end of business that day. We are now on day 2 without a quote. I spoke to her this afternoon and was told they were working on it and should have it to us within an hour. Still no quote. Bottom line is, I get things happen.
But communication is imperative. Be honest, communicate it isn't ready. Don't just not send something two days in a row after it was promised. We are getting ready to spend $50-75K on a back yard oasis and the last I want is to have to chase the contractor around to get what we have paid for. Just not going to work for me.

When we moved to Murfreesboro three years ago, we continued on with the company that was servicing the pool. There had been a gap in service so the pool was a deep green when we moved in. I worked with them at first but they were never able to get the pool clean and were slow. We weren't a priority. When I called Anderson Pool, I found their pricing was significantly lower so we gave them a chance based on that.
They came EVERY DAY until our pool was crystal clear and ready for swimmers. For three years, they have provided a wonderful service and Sherry is amazing on the phone. These people have always given their best with me. I thought the score was low and unfair so Ia sharing my story.

Anderson's Pool and Spa folks fave been very helpful. They built our pool and have helped us maintain it for the past several years. Beware that the longevity of most pool equipment is not as long as expected. And most of the equipment is very expensive. Otherwise we've had a positive experience with our first pool.

Anderson pool took care of my pool for about one and a half seasons. They were never able to get my pool clear. After the first season they told me my pump was bad because the company that had installed it put in the wrong kind of sand plus it was dirty. They stated they could replace the pump and fix it for a lot of money! At one point they said we should just deal with it, some pools are just cloudy.
We hadn't notice that our new ladder was broken and pieces were missing until they reopened it the next season. And for all this, they charged me a little over $550! They messed up my ladder, never cleared up my pool and charged me for using their chemicals all while actually using mine. I finally had enough and called a different company. Our pool was clear within 48 hours, they closed down the pool properly and they were a little cheaper!

Unfortunately, Nikki is slow to answer simple questions. Shortly after we made a deposit, I sent her an email asking about sales taxes (not due because it's considered new construction). I never got my question answered. More recently, I sent her an email asking about adding additions to our pool. She replied that she would get back to me the following week.twice.never did. So, we shopped elsewhere and found more pool for the money in a shorter amount of time.
I emailed her to let her know we were using someone else to install our pool and would like a refund of our deposit since she didn't do what she said she would do. She emailed me that she would contact me the following day. Three weeks later and I still haven't heard back from her. I'm sure Anderson Pools installs quality pools, but I can't work with someone who can't follow through with simple responses to questions.

I've waited a while to let myself cool down before I did this. I think 2 years of cooling off and still being angry about it means I should say something. Let me tell you how things work with this company. You call them, or you go to the store, it doesn't matter. They don't recognize you. You're a total stranger and you will get strange looks for expecting them to remember you.
This detail becomes more important later. You tell them what you need, they schedule a visit. The day comes for the visit, they don't show up. You call (or, again, go to the store) and they have no idea who you are, what you want, or why you're upset--they don't even apologize because they have no proof you even had something scheduled. But they're willing to schedule something (again)!
You reschedule. They schedule everything 1 to 3 weeks out due to being busy (allegedly). And after 3 months of this exact scenario repeating, the guy finally shows up and fixes our pump/filter situation and gets the pool working. He also points out that the plaster and paint surface in the pool is in very bad shape and needs resurfaced. Also, the tiles are falling off and that needs redone.
Ask them if they can do it, and of course they claim they are the only gang in town who can. Then comes, I'm not kidding, FOURTEEN MONTHS of reschedules. I eventually gave up and I just swim in a ratty looking pool. The person we were buying the home from was willing to pay for the renovation as long as we buy the house. Well, after over a year of delays we had to go ahead and buy the house with the ugly pool. And, this story is second hand, but the person we bought our home from had a similar story.
He wanted the same type of concrete pool installed in his back yard in his current home. He called Anderson and scheduled. They never showed up. They had no idea who he was when he went up there to find out why they didn't show up.

They have built 2 pools for us. A 20x40 liner pool at our last home 18 years ago, which still looks new. And a new 20x40 roman concrete/fiberglass hybrid 2 years ago at our new home. They are VERY knowledgeable and helpful and have been in Murfreesboro for a long time. Their pools are beautiful and stand the test of time. I know several people who bought cheaper pools from other companies and regret it.
That's a huge expense to regret. The pools they install are total maintenance free and we have not vacuumed, brushed at all with only minimal chemical maintenance. We would buy another one from them tomorrow!

Visited their store to learn about pools and the maintenance. Very nice, provided a lot of information, she warned us about going elsewhere. We later called them to have a pool inspected at a house we were buying. When that day came they didn't show up, didn't call, we had to call them. She gave my husband one excuse, gave me a different excuse for not being on time.
Then she said she would come out and inspect the pool! We were like"what" we don't want you! We want a professional pool inspector! Highly recommend staying away from Anderson pools!

I had two pools built by this company. When it came time to replace the liner in one of those, I went to their office to get a quote on a liner replacement. After pulling my file giving me a quote on a liner install, i asked for them to furnish a copy of the pool specs to insure I ordered the correct one. After taking 50k of my money they refused to supply me a copy of my own pool measurements.
What kind of business are they running? They are holding my pool measurements as hostage to leverage that they are the ones who replace the liner! Horrible customer service ! BEWARE !!
