I read all these reviews on Advanced Pools and have to wonder if any of them are true. The better business bureau has 5 reviews all of them very very bad. I will start with I had contracted Brian and his crew to build a in-ground pool. Brian is a very good salesman. Brian told my wife and I that the pool would be done within a week excluding the concrete work.

This was in the end of June. Everything started out great they came out to dig and hit a natural spring. Was told by other pool companies happens all the time and is generally an easy fix. Brian was nowhere to be found and his workers could't figure out how to get the water to stop. Needless to say we went more than a week with a pump pumping thousands of gallons of water into a drainage ditch.

These guys never would show up to work. Finally about three weeks in they fixed the spring and worked for probably a day. Then a neighbor hired Brian to put in a pool. Well Brian instead of working on my pool decided to break ground with their pool. I even said to one of Brians workers how do you start another job before you finish this one. He shrugged his shoulders and stated I just work here and dont make those decisions. Everytime Brian said he was coming to work he and his workers wouldnt show up for days if not weeks some times.

If Brian needed a check he was sure to be there that day but didnt do any work when he was there. We waited over three months for the concrete work to get done. Each time I would ask Brian would say the honeycombs have to settle even though I spent hours upon hours with a hose and pole caving them in. His "great" concrete masons he hires do not do a good job.

I have concrete spray all over my siding. They left chunks of concrete all over the place that I had to hire a landscaper to come in and clean it up and then have four large gaps near my two sliding glass doors that were never filled. The excuse I got was well we ok'd the work. I am not a mason and the forms I guess looked all right. We finally finished the job right before Thanksgiving.

Almost 6 months after Brian said it would only take days to complete. The job is finished to a degree. My biggest complaint is the fact that Brian cannot keep his word. Do not trust anything that comes out of his mouth. BTW it is now the middle of December and the pool they started 3 weeks after mine in the neighborhood is nowhere near done and they had to call the BBB and the Attorney Generals office on Brian. Do your homework before hiring this company!
