Don showed up at our house a few days after receiving our down payment. His contract states installation 4-5 weeks after receiving the signed contract and payment. We asked when the pool would be installed "you'll be swimming in your pool before July 4th." 4 weeks goes by and no word from Don. We tried calling several times and no one answered the calls. Emails - no response. 5 weeks - multiple phone calls and he finally answers. "Oh I forgot all about you." I'll come to your house tonight to make things right.
He never showed up. He never called. My husband reached out to him again in the morning. He says I'll come by your house within the hour. He shows up this time. Don says I don't know when I can put your pool in. I haven't even ordered it yet. It'll be a few weeks at least. This would bring us to mid to end of July. He says, "I can't give you a date." Needless to say I cancelled the contract. His word means nothing. Poor communication.

I monitor my pool everyday, in the last two days my water level dropped 4". I knew I had a problem. I called up Don, much to my surprise he arrived immediately, diagnosed the problem and fixed a bunch of small holes in the pool liner. This pool is located in a business with hotel and cottages where guests look forward to being in that water. Thanks to Don they will be.
