Excellent service. From the first contacting, through clear quoting of the job. The work is beyond our expectations. Removing cement near the house and around plastic piping is difficult, and they performed the job great. Respect for the property. Excellent clean up. My husband and I recently assisted my 77 year old mother with hiring a contractor to remove her swimming pool. My mother lives alone, and is very trusting of everyone, and we needed to make sure that we found a contractor that would not take advantage of her. My husband spoke with a few pool removal contractors and after talking with Andrew we knew we found the right company.

His proposal was descriptive, clear, and concise. They did exactly as promised, and then some. My mother has a small dog, because they were working in the backyard, she could not let the dog out during the day to go potty - Andrew was thoughtful and kind enough to volunteer to walk my mother's dog each day they were there! Our experience with this company was very pleasant and we are extremely satisfied.

The admin at POOLS R US were super helpful, easy to communicate with and super lovely. they even helped on the decision on which pool to go with. which made my life so much easier. Ben and the boys did an amazing job when it came time to install the pool. my backyard was a bit hard to work with and they did everything in there power not to damage anything. i am so happy with their efforts and am so happy with the pool. i can't thank them enough! if you're wondering which pool company to go for these guys are definitely the go to!

We contracted with Outdoor Finishes to have a pool removed from a property we purchased in Bethesda, MD. Andrew and his crew were a pleasure to work with and the removal of the pool went smoothly and efficiently. I appreciated the weekly updates in regard to scheduling, which had the potential to be affected by weather. Overall a painless and clear cut process, done in a professional and time conscious manner.

I rarely publicly comment (good or) bad on contractors, businesses or services - but - just over eight years ago, October 2010, Pools R Us handed over our new inground concrete pool. The warranty expired in October 2018 and the Christmas swimming season is also about to end. My wife and I are as pleased with the pool now as the day our grandchildren first jumped into it.

We have a had a check-up service annually and in that time all we have needed is a pump serviced. We were advised at the time to buy the best pool pump, the best solar pump, the best filter, and the best chlorinator. Because of that advice the pool almost runs itself. His contract was spot on and his pricing was well within the range that I expected. He started my job on a Monday August 6, 2018 and with good weather, he completed the job by Thursday afternoon of the same week.

I was amazed at his coordination of tasks involved in my project. The degree of satisfaction is a function of the weather. As you all recall we had the wettest 2018 on record in our area and Andrew's grass seed germinated in about 3 weeks. There is still more things to do to bring my back yard up to my standards, but I am completely satisfied with my partial pool deconstruction. My gunite pool built by Anthony-Sylvan Pools in 1987 was in excellent condition. By way of full disclosure, I am a real estate appraiser and I have my own opinions about the value added to the home site. Generally pools add only a nominal value when compared to the construction cost new unless you live in a very upscale neighborhood. Pools do add utility and fun for the entire family.

While I protested the construction in 1987, I conceded to the desires of my young family. Now fast forward to 2019, I am now alone and might possibly want to sell the property in the next few years. Most buyers even those with young families do not want swimming pools. I feel that if you had ten potential buyers, you may find one that might want to buy your house.

It's been 6 years since I had my pool demolished and backfilled by this company. We had some site challenges, and Andrew was forthright from the beginning as to what to expect. They did exactly as agreed and then some. It's been 6 years and there wasn't any settlement of soil. They know what they're doing, and working with Andrew was a pleasant experience.
