Full disclosure, this review is based off of services rendered last year, I just never got around to writing the review. There is very little good about this company, and it only comes in the form of two workers Rob and Kyle, who were professional, nice, and knowledgeable. Rob was the original guy who came out, did measurements, and made the sale. Kyle came out a few times to do minor work.
From there I had nothing but problems. 1. They had almost no communication, going weeks and weeks between anything at all. They do not answer phones, messages, or emails 90% of the time. 2. They're "office address" listed on the business card is a residential address, so no help there. 3. Workers would come and do a 5 minute task, say they'll be back tomorrow, and never show up. 4.
They tried to leave a large pump running continuously off of my electricity for weeks. 5. The office worker would call and say that a person would be there on a certain day, and they would never show up. 6. Workers (Except Kyle and Rob) would leave food and trash all over my back yard. 7. Workers left half of the debris in a back corner of my property without informing me. 8.
They left a trailer in my driveway for four days and completed no work. They removed the trailer and never finished the task they started. 9. The contract stated a price, and a price range if certain things came into play. When I needed to enact that part of the contract, they refused to do the work until I paid substantially over that contracted price. 10.
They missed every date they gave me in terms of being there, and completion time. 11. I was told the liner came in and work would be started, then after weeks of no communication, and finally getting ahold of someone, I was told my liner was actually not there. After enough was enough, I noted their breach of contract and requested a full refund. They came back and said they had no problem not finishing, but I still had to pay the full price for the liner which I never received and the manhours they spent working at my house. Overall, they may have spent a total of an hour and a half there.
We finally agreed on I'll take the liner for an additional fee and have someone else install it. Overall I was still ripped off as the price and date ordered / shipped was still inside the unopened liner box. The next company I used resurfaced and laid the liner within a week and a half for a fraction of the price.

I have to give a shout out to Kyle. He is probably Aqua Dynamics' saving grace and the only reason people keep doing business with this company. Every encounter we had with him was an absolute pleasure. However, the good things about this company stop there. We entered into contract for a liner repair in May. We were told that the pool would be operable for the 4th of July-- that was most certainly not the case.
By the end of August, we had lost basically the entire summer's usage of our pool and had to find another company to complete the work because of up-charges violating the contract. This company will lie to you, ignore your calls and try to charge you down right outrageous prices, contradictory to their written contract. The only decent thing they did throughout this whole process was to allow us to take the overpriced liner we purchased to another company for install-- which was completed in less than a week after we finally received the liner.
If you are looking for a decent and reliable pool company, I would suggest giving Absolute pools a call- they are friendly, helpful, reliable and do great work. Nothing about our experience with Aqua Dynamics was worth the headache or the price. Don't waste your time or money.

Aqua dynamics was very responsive and Vicki was professional, responsive and polite. However, when we realized we did not need the full solution we were sold, we cancelled the service several days in advance of schedule and then we were charged a credit card merchant fee for our 50% we were required to put down. It is unclear why we had to pay a credit card fee for a service which never occurred.

I have had two separate pools completely redone by Aqua Dynamics. They replaced the plumbing, liners and all the pumps and other equipment. Both pools came out great and I will continue to use Aqua Dynamics in the future. The owner and his crew are very professional and communicate well. After my installation they were very thorough helping me learn how to operate all of the equipment. Whenever I have any questions or need anything they are always happy to help. I am very glad i chose Aqua Dynamics.

Aqua dynamics excellent with installing a rail into my pool. I inquired, Ashley told me details and once I gave permission, his guys were out within two days for installation. They did a great job. I have dealt with this company for years. Pump replacement, filter replacement, liner replacement and chlormatic replacement. They have always been fair, punctual and did excellent work. Totally satisfied.

I don't normally take time to review companies but will make an exception with this one. I called to request a service for multiple material problems with my pool. I spoke with Miss Vicki who wasn't sure what I was referring to (a broken water jet on my steps) and recommended an opening for the tech to come out. I agreed and gave my payment information assuming the techs must have common replacement parts on hand like other trades individuals would.
After reading the reviews I worried that I would be paying $450 for someone to come out and look at my pool just to tell me things need to be replaced later. I called several times and ultimately left a message requesting clarification on what would be included in the visit and stated an opening itself was not necessary. I received no response, which didn't surprise me because most contractors are generally happy to not come all the way out to my area.
I got a call at 4:30 on the scheduled date by Vicki who started the conversation with "you never cancelled with me".an obvious reference to the call I had made days prior. I was trying to be polite as I explained the message but her only rebuttal was to reiterate that I hadn't cancelled, they would charge me $300, and I could dispute it with my credit card company.
I intended on putting down a deposit for a new liner, pump, plumbing repair, and a salt water conversion but will have to take my business elsewhere. This situation may not be indicative of the company's customer service values and is in all likelihood a mismanaged situation by Vicki. In any case, I'm extremely disappointed and glad my dealings with this person were limited. I hope this review is helpful and others don't have to experience this unprofessional behavior.

I called to set an appt. for repair service. I was asked what type/brand of pool equipment and had no idea. I was told there was someone nearby who could take a look. I was never quoted a service charge but was asked for a card number. I should have asked why but thought it would be for the repairs I was expecting. I would understand if I was going to be charged a service call but should have been told and given their cost.
I would also expect more than putting eyes on the system. Ashley looked at the dates on the saltwater system, Polaris, and filter, asked if my husband knew anything about the systems, and said all would need replacing at a cost of around $5000. He was gone within 10 minutes, never tested anything, never took anything apart, but knew it was beyond repair.
I said I'd let my husband know what he told me. I never received a ticket, receipt, nothing in writing stating what he checked, what was needed, no quote, nothing. A week later I was charged $100 for a service call. I called Vickie who said she told me there was a $100 service fee. She didn't have the date of the visit but said she could write a receipt if I wanted one. I have never had to dispute a charge, so I will see how it works out.

I first used this company eight years ago to overhaul my automation system and replace my pool liner. I have continued to call on them for their excellent service over the years. Two weeks ago I called on them again to replace my pool pump. Tech Robert was excellent. His follow up and his assistance diagnosing other issues really put me at ease. Go with owner Ashley and these guys. They're great

Ashley and his guys just finished the install of a new liner for our pool. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Excellent communication which was impressive given all of the rain and Memorial Day. Ashley would always send updates of any time line changes and gave realistic estimates which is very refreshing. We went with a sandstone color for the liner which Ashley recommended. It's not your typical blue and we were hesitant at first, but the results are amazing. The picture doesn't do it justice. Thanks again to Ashley and crew. Highly recommend!
