We just wanted to say, that we would recommend Gammon Pools o anybody who is looking to get a new pool or re-do theirs. From the time I called Donnie, he explained how to re-do our pool and spent time so we could understand what we wanted. Donnie's workers were outstanding and on time, which is very important to me. The performance of the work was a 10, 10 being best! We are very happy with the results!!

I don't generally write negative reviews, but I do read them and I encourage you to read this review in it's entirety. The primary reason for my comments has to do with how a business supports their Customer, here specifically, how Gammon pools failed to support the work they performed on my pool. Gammon Pools worked as a subcontractor providing a pebble tech re-surfacing to an original plaster install.
If you are not familiar with this process, it is quite extensive and involves the removal of the plaster surface. Over the course of years, I have experienced a serious failure in the application of the pebble tech, which has resulted in numerous, large blemishes where rust is now bleeding thru and discoloring the surface. The Owner of Gammon and other companies have been out to survey and review the damage.
Every company on site indicated the issues are workmanship related, which has lead to a significant failure in the pebble tech surface I described above. During the survey by the Owner from Gammon, he said that he had been in the business for over (20) years and never seen anything similar. The other Companies who observed the damage indicated it was not common, but does occur and asked who provided the pebble tech work.
They suggested that if not under warranty, the original Contractor should address the problem. Just to be clear, I did not expect to have the work performed at no cost, however the quote I received from Gammon was 30% higher than all of the other quotes. I asked Gammon to meet these prices, since they had done the original install and they declined.
In fact, the Owner never even called me back. Other than email correspondence from his Admin, he never called or communicated with me following has survey. This is a company I would use with caution (or never) as they clearly do NOT defend their work, nor do they appear to have any interest in Customer service once complete.
