Spending money to maintain a swimming pool can be a bit stressful when unexpected things happenm but the staff at Aqua Quip has somehow always put our mind at ease. Almost every experience we have had with Aqua Quip for the past 12 years or so has been great. We usually go to the Lynnwood store but have also gone to the Seattle store and both are great. The staff are exceptional--both in customer service and in knowledge. Everyone is super friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Aqua Quip.

Andre was very knowledgeable about all the different options and really listened to what we wanted and helped us find the right match both in terms of cost, size and features. Andre has great energy too and made the whole thing fun and not stressful. He went out of this way to help us demo full tubs at different store locations and helped us quickly get a set of stairs that were accidentally left off the order. Delivery and set up was a breeze. Can't write more - got to get back in the tub!

I bought a hot tub in April 2021 from Andre at Aqua Quip. From our first call he was knowledgeable, helpful, and got us set up for a quick delivery. We recently had an issue with our hot tub thermometer. I contacted Andre and instead of making me wait a couple weeks for the service department, Andre came to my house, troubleshooted, and fixed our thermometer. I can't say enough about Aqua Quip and Andre. If you need a hot tub, give Andre a call!

If it were possible to give this company negative stars, I would. I have had nothing but a terrible experience with this company. My nearly $60,000 swim spa and Covana (cover) have not worked properly for more than 2 weeks at a time. The customer service department cancels appointments at the last minute. The technicians are usually polite and helpful but the two guys who came out here today arrived to fix a problem. without the part. Yes, the part that took 2 months to get was left off the truck.

The other issue is a need to tighten screws. something that could have been done MONTHS ago but will now entail tearing out the deck so they have access. It has been one issue after another. This company is concerned about one thing only; money. They do not care about the experience of their customers. I have finally decided in order to find a fair resolution that I must sue the company. Please be careful. I wish I had never heard of Aqua Quip -

Terrible service! At first very helpful and kind but once they deliver and install you have to fight to get them to come out to fix their mistakes. The district manager won't return calls and you will sit with a beautiful expensive new fireplace that you can't use for a couple months. Good luck! It is not allowing me to respond to your reply but no you will not find my name in the system.

I work for a local contractor and we contacted you to out in a gas fireplace for a clients home we were remodeling. I eventually after a couple months was dealt with but we no longer recommend you to our clients. In the past your service was sufficient, didn't make us look good or bad but our clients trust us to only bring in the best 3 rd parties when we have to.

After this experience we lost the confidence of this client and the subsequent referral they had already given us. We no longer have you on our list of trusted companies we refer our clients to. We can not afford for another company to make us look bad. There is nothing that can be done at this point

Just wanting to comment on 1 year of owning a Finnleo sauna from Aqua Quip--we love it! We retrofitted a closet in our home gym to hold the sauna (added a dedicated outlet) and it fits in perfectly. Now that the days are truly grey and dreary it's wonderful to come home to and shake off work and relax into the evening. So glad we made this purchase! And like everything from Aqua Quip, it was 100% easy, from purchase to install. Thank you!

I stopped by, as we had just purchased a new home. I was looking for a new Weber Grill and Hot tub and I wanted to talk to someone who might actually be knowledgeable about these products. I found parking easily, as they've got a lot and was impressed with their showroom, I saw that they also had some nice gas fires which would be great on our back patio.

I waited around a bit and there was really only one sales guy, who was obviously deeply involved with a customer. After 15 minutes or so, I have up and went online and ordered a grill from a warehouse store and hot tub.

After many years of talking about getting a hot tub, we finally "took the plunge" and decided to work with AquaQuip. There wasn't a hard sell approach which we appreciated. Since then we have also been happy with the great communication from our salesperson, Jason. He always answers our email questions promptly (since we are new to hot tub ownership, we have many).

UPDATE: Recently (6/21 onward) their staff seems to have changed and they have been less helpful and less knowledgeable. On a recent trip, one staff member thought a chemical did the exact opposite of what it actually does. I had to explain his own product to him. It was disconcerting to say the least. This same staff person seems distracted most of the time and definitely gives a vibe like they would rather be anywhere else.

I've interacted with this staff member three times now so I can't chalk it up to them having a bad day. I still use AquaQuip as I like their chemicals and their water analysis service but I'm going to change up the day of the week I go in hopes of getting better service. Previous review: The staff members are all helpful and if they can't answer your question, they'll find someone who can.

We've had them replace our pool pump and a few other services and they're always professional, on time, and gracious with my many questions. I especially appreciate their water testing and diagnostic service. It helps me keep our pool sparkling and safe! Their chemicals may be a bit more expensive than some but they work well so one ends up using them less frequently.

My husband called many pool companies to get quotes for installation of a pool heat pump. He ended up negotiating a price with Aquaquip, got the official quote, paid it and was told we'd have someone reach out to schedule the install the next day. When that didn't happen, he followed up only to then be told it couldn't be scheduled because it would cost $500 more to do the electrical for the installation and the company was no longer honoring the quote and the services they agreed to provide for the price my husband had already paid them.

My husband asked to speak with the individual who had given my husband the initial quote and was told he'd call back that day. That never happened. My husband then called to speak to a manager and was put on hold and then eventually told a manager couldn't speak with him but they would refund the money he'd paid. My husband at this point said fine because he didn't want to ever deal with this company again.

If it's $500 extra now, who is to say it won't be another $500 extra down the road. We asked for confirmation the funds had been refunded and are still trying to get the company to provide that so that we can book someone else to install a heat pump. Still have yet to have a manager call us and explain what happened or apologize. We've been long time Aquaquip customers, but this experience has led us to never want to do business there again and even to seek out reporting these practices to the Better Business Bureau. UPDATE: We did finally get a call back from the individual who gave us the initial quote (who was not the one who added on the $500 and apparently shouldn't have). Unfortunately, while we do appreciate the call, it shouldn't take multiple calls to try to speak to a manager and a bad yelp review to get a call and get someone to acknowledge that they could in fact do it to for the amount they'd originally agreed to do it for.

Every business has a human touch and none of us are perfect. Mistakes do happen. What's important is how you take care of them. I went through this situation with Aqua quip but am happy to announce that they took care of me. Justin Baeyen represents Aqua Quip well.

UPDATE Aqua Quip did credit me back some of the install ORIGINAL Aqua Quip was the only distributor of the sauna my wife and I were looking for, Finnleo, so they were our only option. The product is great, but the customer service at Aqua Quip is disappointing. Sales quickly charged us for our purchase, but failed to send a receipt / invoice without an email prompt.

Delivery happened within a couple days and the material was brought into our house carefully, but the install was done poorly. The installer was reckless with the drill; stripping heads, drilling at non-orthogonal angles, forcing screws / bolts through when he ran into resistance that could have been fixed with an improved angle, and over-drilling screws that reduced long term mount-ability; I believe that I will experience a lot of headache when I end up taking it apart to move in the future as he installed this as if it would never need to be moved again, without care.

The installer did not even follow the directions regarding the rocks; per the instructions "rinse the rocks before placing in the heater" (not done), "carefully place the rocks loosely so that air can circulate through the heater" (not done, he put them in quickly and carelessly), "packing the rocks too tightly may cause the heater high limit switch to trip or poor room heatup" and the first time we used it, the Heater High Limit switch tripped at around 160 F (max temp is 194 F). Luckily after I redid the rocks myself, following the instructions, the unit worked perfectly. TL;DR buy from them if you must, but install it yourself or insist that they take their time and take care to install your new unit.

I wish I had read the reviews before we spent $10,000 on a Jacuzzi from Aqua Quip. When they delivered the Jacuzzi they sent the wrong lift cover. They did not come back until I called four times to install it. We purchased this Jacuzzi two months ago. We are using the home as a short-term rental and now I have an error code which my son has gone through all of the trouble shooting.

And it still is not working. We called the service department to schedule a technician to come out and they are saying it may take a month to get someone out to look at it. You have got to be kidding me. This is absolutely unacceptable.

We bought a new hot tub last year which we love! Jason and the team there at Aqua Quip have been nothing but outstanding even before we purchased our new hot tub. We had our previous hot tub for at least 10 years and they were always ready to assist or offer knowledge (the main reason we purchased our new hot tub from the team). We did have a couple of issues with the warehouse but the team there in Seattle helped make things right as well. Great job!

I appreciate Aqua Quip not only for their knowledgeable salespeople but also for their customer service. I bought a ridiculously expensive, stainless steel infrared grill from them several years ago. Unfortunately even though it's been stored and used on a covered deck all the non-stainless components like the burners rusted out. When I contacted the OEM through their web site they were singularly unhelpful. However, when I contacted Kip at Aqua Quip he connected me with their manufacturer's rep who sent replacement parts even though the BBQ is beyond warranty. There's no way I could have achieved that outcome without Kip's help. I will definitely buy from them again.

We like many people during the 2020 Pandemic, decided to purchase a Hot Tub! We had heard great things about Aqua Quip and decided to just go in store to learn more and check them out. We worked with Jason the Store Manager, who is a wealth of knowledge and helped us very quickly narrow down our search within minutes. You could clearly tell he knows all the detailed differences and features of Hot Tubs from his over 25 years of experience!

We originally thought we wanted a saline option, but Jason was able to help us better understand how that worked and discussed the benefits of the UV filtration system on the Sundance! Aqua Quip was also very smart during the Pandemic and bulk purchased specific popular models and colors and was able to get us a Tub in weeks instead of 6 months like we had heard.

We got in installed 9/2020 and have loved it! They have an in house electrical team that made everything much easier to plan out and get in motion. The electrical looks flawless and you can barely tell it is there! However Jason and the team really showed their level of service after the installation with answering my countless questions and offering multiple different tips and service programs to help get the best experience on our tub.

He also would answer emails on off hours with questions that would come up and was able to provide a lot of great advice! I highly recommend Aqua Quip and specifically the Seattle location and with Jason and his team. The Sundance product as well had been great!

Purchased a hot tub here a little shy of 3 years ago. It is an 880 Sundance spa. The spa has had numerous electrical fails and design issues. This brand should be avoided. The kicker is the cost of repair. Since we are in a remote location they want $300.00 drive time to show up, 199.00 for the first half hour and 99.00 for each subsequent half hour. Note, location was not an issue when we purchased the spa.

This business should be avoided since they sell inferior products and charge above market for goods and services. They usually charge more than what you can order on Amazon for the same part or chemical product.

Bought a 2nd Regency gas insert a year after the first from this vendor. Last month the remote control failed. Have to remove the heavy faceplate to gain access to the manual operation toggle switch to turn unit on and off. Only works on high fire which cooks us out of the rec room in 10 minutes, which we have to then switch it off. A real nuisance. Aqua Quip, considered an "essential" operation by the State refuses to perform a warranty repair due to covid19, but is making sales calls and new installs since May 1st.

They won't even give an approximation date when they will fix the unit other than to say to check with them in July. Readying a complaint to the A.G.'s office and have complained to Regency in Canada.

A pleasure to work with, kind and courteous The two gentleman who installed the insert were nice and professional. I appreciate their attention to detail. So far everything but a pleasant experience. Purchased a $12k Sundance hot tub to replace our old one for our rental cabin, so we would be sure that everything would run smoothly (due to the price) and it has been everything but that. It has been trouble since day one. The hot tub was delivered dirty, scratched on all sides with dented panels, with 12 out of 60 jets coming off the tub upon starting it, with error messages from the first start up and coming back out of the blue every few days, and difficulties keeping the temperature.

Now after only three weeks of mild use the hot tub is inoperable and unusable with constant error messages and jets and pumps not working. This situation has already costed us $500 in lost income due to the discounts and refunds we had to give my guests as they could not enjoy the hot tub during their stays. The assistance I have received from the people at this location has been non existent this far, with them blaming the delivery company for the issues (which they contract with and for which we had to pay $350 for), unapologetic about the situation and making it seem as a normal occurrence to experience something like this.

It is pretty shocking to spend over 10k at this business and receive this lack of service and consideration. Our preview hot tub was only 4K and we didn't have any issues for over 4 years of heavy use. At this point we are seriously considering contesting the charge on our credit card and physically returning the tub to the retail location. I will be happy to update this review if and when we will get the proper attention and assistance we deserve.

Please avoid this place if you want to get your job done on time. We wanted to get a new Fireplace installed on dry wall in our new house and we made a deposit of $500 for the same. We were told that final estimation of effort and money would be made after a guy come from their store would inspect the target location for installation. On the scheduled date no one showed up in time (even after we called and got confirmation about the visit an hour ago before the scheduled visit time slot).

We followed up by calling the store and we were promised that they would look in to getting someone on the site ASAP and we would be updated about any change in plan. We waited for another hour for someone to show up for estimation but we neither got anyone onsite nor did we get any calls/message about it. Finally we had to visit the store again to get our deposit money back. Very poor experience :(

I almost bought a swim spa at one of those weekend "spa shows". After asking lots of questions about the install and reading reviews I decided to buy locally and I'm so glad I did. Getting my enormous swim spa in my back yard was a challenge (putting it mildly). After some initial issues and working very closely with the Aquaquip team I am now LOVING my swim spa.

They really made sure everything got handled. I am confident I can manage the maintenance with how easy they make the process for all customers. The electrical dept was great to work with and taking water samples in is quick helps me make sure I'm doing everything right. Life is short, buy the spa :)

We got our hot tub through AquaQuip a year ago. From installation to everyday use, all the staff have been 100% helpful. I go to the store on 4th Avenue for water testing and supplies. Every person explains every step carefully and thoroughly for me. I recently switched from the chlorine based system to the hydrogen peroxide system because of a skin hive-like reaction to the chlorine. The staff couldn't have made the switch any simpler and my hives have gone. If you want a hot tub, this is the place to go. Gary Smith

When Aquaquip came out I was told by the Aquaquip tech that I had a faulty valve that couldn't be ordered, repaired or replaced. As a result of this information I went to my real estate agent and we began to pursue the previous owner of the home in court for dishonesty about the condition of the fireplace. I then asked Aquaquip for a quote on a new unit and was quoted for a $3,000 solution to our problem.

For a second opinion I then contacted RTS and their tech came out and started the fire place with no problem. He confirmed the valve was in perfect condition and the fireplace had no problems at all. It just needed the pilot light lit. The Aquaquip tech either committed fraud or was utterly incompetent. The worst part is that Aquaquip management have not returned emails documenting their error. They sent the $200 service fee to collections. Watch out for Aquaquip they are not trustworthy or responsible.

UPDATED: After writing this review it seemed to finally get the ball rolling on fixing our swim spa. The manager of the store called me directly to make sure everything was getting done. I'm happy that it's fixed and I can finally enjoy the pool. I will say that the store staff (most of the Stars go to them) are really nice but still really unhappy with the maintenance service department. ORIGINAL POST: The Service Department (not store staff) is HORRIBLE!

I love my Swim/spa but in the last two years we have not been able to enjoy it as much as we should have. This year we have only been able to use it once since the pool has been broken for 2 months. The service department sends one guy (three times) even though they tell us the work should be done with 2 people. The tech guy shows up, says he doesn't know what needs to done, makes a big mess then leaves with out notice other than a note that says "need to come back" I have called so many times with no help making the situation better. Now I have an expensive broken pool just sitting half full with stagnate water and dealing with a company that doesn't care about its clients. I'm so frustrated!

Thanks to Aqua Quip we are the proud owners of two new efficient and beautiful gas inserts for our fireplaces. I thought they were just decorative. No way, I was so wrong. These inserts make our home so warm. I had to switch from sweatshirt to T-shirt. The fireplaces were just sitting there not doing anything useful. Jeff and Brian at Aqua Quip gave me a gas fireplace insert quote within 2 days of contact.

I had called and emailed 6 other fireplace companies. No one got back to me except Aqua Quip and one other. Jeff from Aqua Quip came out and his bid was $2K lower than the other company's bid on email only, they never even came out. Today Phil from Aqua Quip rocked a very tough install in our 1950 home with very little access to the fireplaces. He was on time, pleasant, clean and very fast to boot. The inserts are so handsome and we are feeling toasty. Thank you again Aqua Quip for such a fantastic customer experience from start to finish!
