Called early August to get on waiting list for a bid. Was told it would be 6-8 weeks before someone could come. I didn't have a problem with waiting. Called around week 6 a couple of times to get a time frame on where we were on waiting list as I had already received other bids. Difficult getting anyone to return a phone call. Received very rude voicemail back from a lady telling me to be patient.
It's now November 2, and no return call. Customer service is definitely lacking. I could have been patient if I had just received a friendly call back with a time frame. We've signed with another company who has been very responsive.

I called and asked to get a bid for a new pool cover. For the first appointment they called and said they had gotten backed up and needed to reschedule. That was fine. The next week 2 guys came and asked if I had a current cover for my pool. I told them I did. They said they could take my cover to their warehouse to get an EXACT measurement and email me a bid.
I gladly handed my cover over. A week went by and I didn't hear anything. I called the store and was told they needed to come and actually measure the pool. I asked why they didn't do this in the first place and reminded them that they took my cover for EXACT measurements. They seemed so confused as to why someone from the company would have taken my cover.
Each person I talked to I got a different story. I asked for a manager to call me and he never did. The next day I called and asked for clarification and was just told "we will be there Thursday" 2 men showed up and said "I was just told to drop this off" They never measured anything. Not my pool or my cover. Everyone I have dealt with was rude and terrible communication/customer service skills. Would not recommend this business!

My wife and I have visited with Gentry on three different occasions to discuss the design of our new dream pool. Twice at our home and once at his office. It was awesome to his design talents in action! Gentry has been patient with us and he's very professional in all his work. A huge "Thank You" to Gentry and his team for treating us so well. When it REALLY matters Baker Pools has come through again. The level of customer service during this unprecedented cold has once again verified my choice to use Baker. They literally saved my pool and responded to my requests within minutes. The old saying, "you get what you pay for" is still very true. We are starting year 5 and we would pick Baker again.

Baker Pools maintenance department deserves recognition for outstanding customer service. During the recent unprecedented cold temperatures, I reached out to the maintenance department on two different occasions for separate pool equipment related issues. Both times, Kathy was pleasant and responsive, immediately placing me in touch with the right individuals to discuss my concerns.
When it was decided that repairs were necessary, Bill and Ky arrived only a couple hours later. They were extremely professional, addressing my questions and concerns, while making the necessary repairs that ultimately saved me from more severe damage and additional costly repairs. Also, during the several days of bitterly cold weather, Kenny made himself available by phone all hours of the day to work through issues, which helped put me at ease. This team of individuals went above and beyond in ensuring I was taken care of. I owe them all a big THANK YOU!

We followed their recommendation to have pool finish installed in December. We wanted to wait as we didn't want to have problems in the middle of winter. But they wanted to finish the job and get paid so they came weekly for a month to manage the pool, scrap the sides and adjusted the bubblers on tanning ledge. After a few months we noticed chips on the coping near the bubblers.
They came out and said it is because we put the bubblers on during the winter and water got on the coping and froze resulting in chips. Since they were the ones maintaining the pool during the freeze and kept the bubblers on, we expected them to fix the problem. The owner was horrible to talk with and said he would not fix it! We would have gone to court but I came down with cancer and had a medical battle to fight.
I just couldn't fight a legal one as well. They are a horrible company and I dot recommend them at all. There were other issues as well but this is the main one. Not professional at all. Only interested in a fast sale then good bye- no customer service!

We took time deciding on which company we wanted to build our pool. We considered design, price, experience, type of pool and equipment, materials of construction, and considered if the company would be around for the long term. Gentry with Baker Pools took time to answer our questions, work on a design and deal with many changes during the bid/design process.
There were other companies that bid but were not able to meet our needs on design, price, experience or some other concern. Through a lot of patience and research we decided to go with Gentry and Baker Pools. To this day, after fielding hundreds of our questions and concerns, even after our pool is complete, Gentry always texts or calls us back to help us.
He never made us feel bad or made us feel like we were bugging him in any way. We really appreciated that. Overall we enjoyed the process and we look forward to enjoying our new pool for years to come.

Would give them no stars if I could. Poor communication after contract signed. Never knew when anyone would be on sight unless you hounded your salesman. Had we not had someone at home everyday to watch what was being done our pool would not have been done as promised. They did fix our pool steps that they did not do correctly, but only after having to prove that by just spraying their gemstone over poor concrete work would not solve our problem.
This was after the gentleman who does the gemstone refused to spray his product over steps that were still wet and breaking apart. We went with gemstone product after talking with several people who hated their plaster pools because it is suppose to be a better product. Well, it's not. Coverage is inconsistent and cost is greater. We have a blue strip around the whole inside of our pool and around steps and benches. Basically, told by field manager and owner, that we should be happy with our pool and it's beautiful.
They have pools that look worse than ours. Really? After, still complaining that we aren't happy with end result all they wanted was their final check. Went to make final payment and tried to talk with owner he was short and dismissive. All he could say was he does $400,000 pools and doesn't understand why my $40,000 was such a problem. My response was I guess maybe we just expected too much.
I guess my small pool doesn't meet the same quality workmanship an expensive pool does. Paid my invoice and went out to car. In group text HIS employees sent accused him of running to check to bank to cash it because all they are interested in was your money. Well, I stand corrected by the owner knocking on my window with my check in hand stating that he didn't need to run to bank he could run it through his machine at his office.
Good for him! He was quickly angered and proceeded to yell at me call me WHITE TRASH and a $35000 MILLIONAIRE. While trying to finish text he threatened to call police and have me removed. Asked if I could at least put my seat belt on and he said no I dialing police now. As I drove off he was still yelling and calling me WHITE TRASH. My only response to him was CLASSY!
Then upon sitting across the street talking to my husband here come 2 police officers. After short conversation they thanked me for not texting or talking on the phone and driving. Owner is a bully and hires people just like him. I guess he wins though because I'm still not happy with my pool and he has cashed the check and moved on to another poor consumer.
