If I could rate them a zero I would. Multiple project managers, only one had a clue, and he quit. From a design that left a dangerous ledge on one side of the pool, no stairs to access equipment, and many other issues, this was an epic failure. Within months of completion, walls are falling apart, stairs are separated from pool deck, and much more.
When I reached out to the owner he yelled at me and told me to quit calling and bothering his people, and hung up on me! The pool completion was never signed off on, but they sure were responsive when it was time to collect my money! Do yourself a favor, find a different builder! Would NOT recommend!

We were one of Custom Outdoor Trends' initial customers back in 2013. The owner/designer was so attentive to what we wanted and in the areas that we were unsure of they filled in the creative gaps. From the design to the pre-construction to construction and then follow-up they were incredibly prompt and professional. We've enjoyed our pool for almost a decade now! I would definitely recommend them, and if we were ever in the market for another pool, I would choose them again.

We used them to build our family pool in 2018 and the results could not be better. They worked with us on the design and did an amazing job. The construction phase was more challenging due to things out of COT's control and they worked with us to make it as smooth as possible. They are a great company and we really enjoyed our experience with them. Would highly recommend them as your pool designer.

We purchased our pool with Custom Outdoor Trends a few years back and we are happy to say we are just as pleased today with our pool as when we had them build it. The one thing we can say about this company is their patience and their desire to accommodate their customer. Craig met with us and designed a one-of-a-kind pool for our family. Although we made a few changes along the way, they were patient with us and always wanted to help us get what we wanted.

We got several bids to build our pool when we built our home 3 years ago. Craig's personal involvement in the process made Custom Outdoor Trends the clear choice. We have been very happy with our pool. We had an issue with one of the lights this summer that we couldn't seem to get resolved and Craig got involved and handled it quickly! We had Custom Outdoor trends design and build our pool and fire pit. Unfortunately, we started construction at the beginning of the pandemic which caused it to be a long and drawn out process that took a total of 12 months, but all pool companies were having similar challenges. The design by Michael was fantastic and we absolutely love the finished product.
We also cannot say enough good things about Jessica, our project manager, who stayed on top of things to help drive our pool to completion. They both stayed in contact with us during the process. We definitely recommend this company!

If you are considering using this company, please be cautious. I have never used them but given what happened to me while driving with my young children in the car, I will never do so and will inform others as myself nor anyone with commnn sense should either. A gentleman in the company truck was driving at a high rate of speed then cut me off on Hwy 78 in Wylie several times without signaling and then brake checked me. For the record, I was NOT tailgating! He obviously has some road rage. It appears this is not the first incident according to another review a year ago.

Finally after 3 years working with Troy designing our backyard paradise it is complete! Jay was on top of everything and made sure everything was complete and since completion Chris has been great to work with while servicing our pool weekly. We can't wait to finally enjoy our new pool this summer. Custom Outdoor Trends did an amazing job!

Was great until the end. We requested and paid for some finishes that we did not receive, which really wasn't a huge deal to us-but we had paid a little extra for them. After the pool was complete, I called this to their attention, and requested a refund beginning in September. After months of being ignored, I finally put my foot down at the end of November.
They claim our requested finishes were a typo on our contract, even though we specifically requested them and watched the total of our pool cost go up as it the addition was made during our planning meeting. All was well while they were getting checks from us, but after the money stops rolling in, they are DONE with you.
