We absolutely love our pool. The construction part was great. You guys did a fabulous job and did it so fast! It was a pleasure working with you and we will definitely refer everyone we know, who is getting a pool, to your company. Keep up the great work. Thanks a million.

You guys Rock! The whole process was so easy. If I ever have another pool built, I know I will be calling Accent. I really appreciate how professional, knowledgeable, and helpful everyone has been, even after the completion of the pool.

We are so happy that we went with Accent Pools to build our pool! The communication was great throughout every step of the entire build process. Tom even went above and beyond to guarantee that Accent Pools would deliver exactly what we wanted! We highly recommend Accent Pools!

Up until Aptil/May, I would have given Accent a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, since the freeze the company has become completely unresponsive and service is non-existent. Our freeze damage was repaired promptly and with the level of service we were accustomed to. However at that time a new panel installation was discussed and scheduled. After a no show on that date and multiple contact attempts on our part, including a promise of a return call within 30 minutes, we are no closer to receiving service than we were in April.

I even tried again today thinking maybe it was some fluke, but receive voice-mail for every department I tried. Will be finding another contractor to replace the panel before we move and to build the pool at our next home.

Update since the owner responded with again fraudulent and false information below: 1. We hired a new pool cleaning company on 7/9 who came 24 hours after Accent Pools came out on 7/8. The new company I hired on 7/9 to replace Accent Pools said the filter had not been backwashed and the chemicals were missing and they recleaned the pool and removed the Algae.

I don't know what Accent Pools is talking about in their response to my original post. Maybe because of the national chemical shortage, Accent Pool thought they could get by without shocking the pool (that's what every pool company has done with algae in the pool). The new service I hired on 7/9 to replace Accent Pools (24 hours later) put 4.5 lbs of shock in the pool and removed the algae.

It's a clean pool now and I got the chemicals checked - everything is in balance now with the new company I hired to replace Accent Pools. 2. On 7/8 I called Accent pools yesterday twice and spoke to Alicia (you dial 4 for scheduling) when they left our pool dirty after cleaning. She transferred me to Noe. I left a message. My wife had also called around noon on 7/8.

She left a message in the morning. She also emailed around noon. They did not call us back. In fact, on 7/9 we were the ones who called them back again in the morning and spoke to them. So in their response to my original post they wrote, "you left a message a 4:00 pm yesterday after your service, and our service manager called you back this morning, " is false information.

They did not mention that there were several phone calls and several messages. CHECK BACK WITH ALICIA. What is worse about ACCENT POOLS is that they replied to this post within 53 minutes of me posting it, but they did not have the courtesy to call me back on 7/8 after several phone calls and an email. In fact, on the phone after we called on 7/9 Noe said they are very busy and do not have time to respond. 3.

They are correct when they say that the last pool service person abruptly quit on 6/29. Not hardly enough days to say that the pool was "neglected" to the point that algae could not be cleaned. 4. When Noe cancelled our contract yesterday, I put Chlorox algacide in the pool myself that I had bought from Walmart. The color of the pool changed within minutes. Hmmm Maybe Accent is running short on chemicals and rationing? 5. Also, it's kind of very patronizing of a business owner to assume that a customer is misinformed and "confused" about what company they are talking about in a review.

No confusion here. It seems like their response harbors some sort of bias against customers for whatever reason. FYI - it doesn't take two weeks to remove algae off of the walls of a swimming pool. The NEW COMPANY I hired on 7/9 to replace Accent Pools did that and cleaned the filters. I now have a clean pool. Accent Pools, maybe instead of blaming your customers for a bad job done by your serviceman, you should talk to the person you sent out here who DID NOT DO their job.

They came out promptly after charging above market price and said they would take care of everything. Algae had built up in the pool. When the service person left the pool was almost emerald green with signs of a few strokes of sweeping on the bottom of the pool where there was significant algae build up.

We called several times and left several messages that were ignored. When we finally got the manager on the phone he said that he couldn't help because they were really busy and we had to be patient because "it is the season." He didn't offer a solution and said to basically wait a week until the pool was reserviced. When I insisted that we'd like someone to come before the weekend, he just cancelled our contract. You can try them, but try with caution. They are very organized on the front end, but their service quality, to me, appears very fraudulent.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! It took Accent months to build my pool. After each step you were put on a list and waited for the next step. For example, once the hole was dug, you waited to get rebar, once the rebar was done, you waited to get gunite, etc. It was a long slow process. My pool caved in at one point and had to be dug out by hand around the rebar.

I should have known right in the beginning when I called Tom and told him I had decided to go with Accent then heard nothing for a month. He thought I needed to get financing so was waiting on my financing to come through he claimed. I paid cash! They ripped out my irrigation system and did not tell me they would not route it around so I could water the rest of my yard and landscaping.

They tore up my entire back yard with an attitude of "so what, YOU have to pay to replace the sod". Their workers threw trash from their lunches and snacks all over my yard. I provided a trash can and asked them to use it but they ignored me. My retaining wall had gaps behind it where dirt was not filled in. My concrete deck does not match the existing patio it is butted up against.

The way they ran the eve spouts and irrigation water stands in my yard on both sides of the pool/patio. They show up whenever they want without calling and expect you to drop everything to talk with them. I WORK from home. That does not mean I am free to drop everything when they decide to finally show up. They phoned me 6 months after my pool was completed to tell me I still owed them approx $2400 (on a $52K pool) after they had told me at completion of the job that I was paid in full.

They never picked up the checked on time as the construction completed. I would have to call Sarah to see what to do with the payment and verify the amount. My pool equipment was never registered with Pentair. I learned this recently when my 6 month old booster pump started making a squealing noise. Did you know you can call directly to Pentair? I also learned when I called Pentair that I had missed a rebate on my pool vacuum because my equipment was never registered.

I called them repeatedly as my vacuum had a hole in the hose in the first weeks of use. Noe told me to cut the hose off and keep using the vacuum and he would call me when the new hose was in. Never called, no new hose. I emailed him a picture of the vacuum and called several times. I finally just gave up. When I called, emailed with pics and video about the booster pump, I asked to be first customer of the day. they still could not get to my house before 9:30am and then could only give me a range of arrival between 9:30 and 10:30 am.

They could not guarantee they would have the parts / pump with them when they arrived. "They would have to see the pump first to see what's wrong with it" The tech from the pool company that Pentair sent called and said he would bring a replacement pump with him. Tom Monahan came to my home exactly 1 time when he sold me the pool! Believe me, I wish I had never met him or used Accent Pool to build my pool. Be smarter than i was and avoid this company!

2007, our family decided to improve our backyard and have a pool built. We felt that it would enhance our outdoor experience and in an area of our property that was previously underutilized. As we explored this possibility with several pool builders in the area, we found Accent Pools to be best. From initial design (with multiple iterations) through the construction process, the Accent team was professional and forthcoming - guiding us to make the right decisions with the layout and structure of the pool and surrounding deck area.

Our Accent Pool is 13 years old this spring and still looks as good as the day they finished it - a testament to the high quality of construction they put into bringing our backyard vision to life. Accent wasn't the cheapest company we talked to, but considering the horror stories I have heard about other builders I know we got best value for our dollar. We plan on enjoying our pool for many years to come. Oh, and guess who is servicing our pool? Accent Pools, of course!

My husband and I picked Accent Pools and we are extremely happy with the results. Everyone we dealt with at the company was great, we were kept informed from beginning to end on things happening next. The pool is wonderful and our outdoor cooking area with patio is exactly what we wanted. I would recommend this pool company to anyone that is looking for high quality work and a great build experience. Thank you everyone at Accent Pools, we are another satisfied customer.

Absolutely the best service from beginning to end! I did my research and spoke to several pool companies and couldn't be more happier with my decision going with Accent Pools. Tom is very honest and knowledgeable. Mike was always present and made sure the job/construction was done right. Sarah is amazing! I knew days in advance what was going on and was always available to answer any questions I had. They also offer weekly pool service which is great! Thank you to the entire crew at accent pools!

We were very diligent in our research when we finally decided to have the pool installed. We got bids and plans from 4 different companies and finally decided on Accent. Tom was professional and kept up with our questions and he was the only one who actually listened to what we wanted, changed the plans a few times and we finally decided on our most major investment since our house.

We started in the fall when the weather was not our friend, if you remember it rain a lot! Mike was amazing, just plain amazing! He was very patient with this very nervous homeowner, kept me up to date on delays(the delays were not their fault, it was all weather related), everyone showed up on the scheduled times, were friendly, answered all my questions, and did an absolutely fabulous job. Mike's favorite expression with me was "stay calm, we got this, it will be great" and he was 110% right.

I highly recommend this company, from Tom to Mike to Sarah and the entire family(that is how I think of them now) you will not be disappointed and you will be as happy as we are :)

This is an absolutely horrible pool company. They use substandard materials, unlicensed labor and are dishonest. Just like Mr. Templeton, we have rocks falling apart, decking falling apart, gaping holes between decking and retaining wall and have gotten nothing but excuses, lies and downright refusal to fix this properly. Poor construction caused excessive movement and now our skimmer is cracked.

The panels did not work, the hand held device did not work, they did not install switches that were supposed to be installed, the sprinklers failed within a few months because the pvc pipes underneath were not glued properly. Got excuses, refusal to fix it properly and outright lies. They sent an unlicensed guy to look at the possible electrical issues with the failing panels, the guy caused a fire and a loud pop in our breaker panel. Awful, substandard, dishonest, poor construction.

To the new customers, you might want to wait at least 9 months before leaving any reviews because that is when you will see that things are falling apart and Accent's substandard service will be apparent. Stay far away from this company to protect your pool investment.

Accent Pools designed and installed a pool along with stone walls and outdoor living for us last year. We added lots of extras and everything turned out the way we wanted it. When it's not raining, we are by/in the pool and love it. High quality results from a high quality team of people that care about making happy customers. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Accent Pools. One of our neighbors came by to see the results and now they too enjoy their pool built by Accent.
