Griffin Pools

31 years ago Griffin Pools installed my swimming pool. I had the deck painted once. But after years of use the cool deck surface had worn away in some areas. I called Griffin. The price was right in budget and what I had anticipated. When the cool deck installers were finished it looks like it was new. The supervisor even replaced some tiles that had come off. What a difference a repair makes. Griffins service was outstanding 31 years ago and remains outstanding today.

We requested a quote for a pool installation in October 2021. Never heard back. Followed up multiple times and received promises that the quote would be sent. Still haven't received anything. If it's this hard to get a quote, I can't imagine what the actual installation would be like

Tldr- Griffin seems to only want to do expensive custom pools. If your pool is less than $150k, they will probably just ignore you like they did us. We asked for an estimate. A date was set. They arrived on time. We wanted a traditional large in ground pool with a jacuzzi and bird nest around it. Sounds good right? Got it drawn up and everything. We were told that it would be about 8 months from now before ground would be broken.

We said that was fine. They said they would run the numbers and get back to us. We waited. We waited more. Emailed the company to ask for our quote. Waited more. Called the company office and had them remind the estimator to give us a call or email. Waited more. It has been 5 months and they have refused to give us an estimate. Which is fine, nothing illegal about that, it just seems they have a different customer in mind.

While I can confirm the sales process is better than any other company I received quotes from, the customer service ends there. You can tell the difference before and after the company changed ownership; just read the reviews and take notice of the dates. I built my pool with my new home and this company caused me to be homeless for three weeks. I was clear up front that we had to be done by 12/31.

The pool was just released the first week of February. And the picture below is what it was released to us as. It's still green but getting better now that we are cleaning out the filter daily because there was so much sand in it from a pipe break they had to fix. We now have to hire a maintenance company to help clear it up. This was on top of the skimmer breaking first.

The bright spot was Dianne, my contact through the process, who was quick to respond to me. The owner told her several times he would call me but I only received one call in December (none in Jan or Feb) and he was very rude and sarcastic. This company no longer stands for the quality and service it used to. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Asked for details and a quote for a pool to be built on a home we are having built. Sent an email at the start of the week and nothing heard by the end of the week. For something that is going to cost upwards of $75k not the best way to treat customers. So, my search goes on

Griffin Pools continues to impress me several years after our pool was built by them! Not only did they do an excellent job as the pool was being built, they continue to stand behind their work when we needed their help with the unexpected when they could just as easily not assisted w resolution. I'm feel that they demonstrate care and compassion toward their customers, something uncommon in today's world. I have no hesitancy recommending them to others, and am glad we choose them to build our pool.

Started the project way ahead of schedule which was super and finished a week ahead of when they projected they would. Subcontractors and Griffin employees were courteous and professional. Pool is gorgeous and the timing is perfect! Love our new outdoor space! Andy and Sam were responsive and answered texts and emails promptly and thoroughly. Donald was great with the contract and pricing. We really appreciate the work and love our new pool!

My experience with Griffin Pools was fantastic from start to finish. My first meeting with the sales rep at my home was professional and informative. There was no pressure to sign a contract right away and I did not feel like any unnecessary upgrades were pushed on me. When I went to sign my contract I received outstanding service. I was further at the many choices I had for what I considered to be a basic pool package.

I was kept up to date on the progression of the work and informed on what days the work would be performed. All of sub contractors were very respectful of my home and property. Anytime I had a question or a concern it was addressed immediately and most of all the job was started on the date I was given and completed in a timely manner. I would recommend Griffin Pools to anyone who is going to have one installed at their home. They are a fantastic company, who provides outstanding service.

We highly recommend Griffin. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Everything we have dreamed our outdoor space to look like came true. We truly live it. Thankyou we will be making lots of memories with family and friends.

Had an appt for 2p. Salesman Paul confirmed the day prior. We drove 40 min and arrived 10 minutes early for our appt. Paul was with another client and only acknowledged our presence when my wife interrupted him at 2:20. We continued to wait in the lobby until 2:40 before we just left. Its now 4p and still haven't received a call from the salesman. Disappointed that there was no consideration for the value of my time.

Our Griffin pool and spa turned out absolutely beautiful! We had some issues with our home builder that affected the pool construction, and Griffin went out of their way to make things right for us when our home builder wouldn't. It means a lot that Griffin cares about their customers. We will surely enjoy our lovely pool for many years, and are glad to know they stand by their work and honor those that choose their business!

Griffen Pools is the best pool builder in the area! If you want a pool built the right way with the highest quality materials, then look no further. Love our new pool! We got quotes from 4 different companies and listened to word of mouth and reviews from countless people and finally decided to go with Griffin Pools. Andy was easily reachable (by email) and very attentive to our needs and always kept me informed on what was going on and scheduling. The experience was great and only wish I had asked for more deck jets and a pool heater.even though I live in Florida I still want one. If you are looking for great quality and a great company that installs the best and expects the best.then you need to give them a call. Thanks again Andy for all you did!

Dear Melinda H., I came online today because I had been meaning to post a positive ending to my previously negative review but had been so busy with everything following my father's passing. Instead I found that you had written a response to my review which included my full name and other non-public, unnecessary information. It is my choice to withhold my full name just as it is yours.

I would note two things (a) the lack of a last name included in your response and (b) the fact that Yelp does not allow last names to be displayed in their public reviews. One might think that was to protect someone's privacy. I find your company's handling of this situation to be extremely inappropriate. While I would expect a company to use Yelp as a forum to promote business, I would hope that this would be done in an honest manner.

The use of my full name and family situation feels as though it was used to discredit my negative review and conduct damage control on behalf of Griffin Pools. The fact that my deceased father's house may go into foreclosure should not be used to imply that our review on your service was based on a cost. The fact remains that your business was the only business who thought it necessary to attempt to upsell us into something we did not need.

One would expect more integrity from a company with which they conduct business. And we did find the tile through another local business, as the pool is in otherwise great condition. Please expect a phone call from me tomorrow asking you to kindly remove my name from your previous post. It is unnecessary to the context of my experience. Should you not wish to remove my name, please know that I will issue a complaint against your company with Yelp. I hope people have more understanding and concern should you ever face such a misfortune.

If you want the best pool and most trust-worthy pool company you can get in Polk County, this is it. Griffin has been here longer than many residents and most other pool companies. Not the biggest and not the cheapest, either, but you get what you pay for.

I chose Griffin Pools because I heard that they are the best. I was not disappointed. Everyone was very helpful answering my questions. The pool was done in 2 months. There were no hidden charges. Everything went perfectly. My family and I love our pool! They were right, you are the best! Thank you Griffin Pools!
