Cypress Custom Pools

We could not be happier with our pool and with our experience with Cypress Custom Pools. This is the second time we have built a pool. Our first experience was with another company and comparing that experience to our experience with CCP is night and day. CCP did a phenomenal job. Lauren was our designer and she was fantastic. She has such good vision and a good eye, she asked all of the right questions and listened carefully to what we were looking for, and she designed our perfect pool.

She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with not only the design of the pool, but the colors for the tile, coping, decking, etc. and all of the other small details. She gave great recommendations and advice and the end result is exactly what we wanted. A.J was our project manager, and from excavation to completion we were thrilled. A.J.'s communication was perfect.

He checked in with us regularly and came to inspect the progress multiple times on absolutely every phase of the project and was always there if we had any questions. He really kept whole process moving quickly and efficiently and he truly made it so easy on us. We couldn't have asked for a better project manager. We were also so happy with all of the crews/ subcontractors that CCP uses.

Each and every one did a great job, stayed on schedule (ahead of schedule actually), always cleaned up when they finished, and even worked with us to put up a temporary fence every single day to keep our dogs safe and away from the construction site. As I mentioned, this was not our first time building a pool, but it was a FAR superior experience and we will always recommend this company to anyone looking for a pool construction company. You cannot beat the service and quality of work you get with CCP. Thank you, Lauren, A.J. and the team at CCP for building our dream pool!

Our pool (backyard oasis) was just completed by CCP and we could not be happier. The whole process went very smoothly. Brian came out and listened to what we wanted, Leanna created the 3D and the project began. Joe, our Project Manager, did a FANTASTIC job of keeping us informed on what was happening and when it was going to happen. The crews that they used were all very good, hard working and cleaned up afterwards. Leanna listened to my wife during the plaster and waterline tile selections so that my wife got the results that she wanted. Kyle came out to do the "pool school" and could not have been better at taking time to explain everything.

The backyard oasis is everything that we wanted. This team did a fantastic job. The pool dig was February 21st and on April 11 was pool school. Could have been faster except we went out of town the week that would have been the plaster so they couldn't work that week

I would highly recommend Cypress Pools for your next pool project. We had a larger project than most. Our sloping back yard made it ideal for a lot of exterior stone work and an infinity edge. We also installed a spa and an outdoor kitchen. The design they (LeAnna) came up with was head and shoulders above anything else we saw from other Pool Companies.

This was our first pool and we always dreamed of having one. The owner (Brian) and LeAnna were very helpful and responsive. Brian's decades of experience in this business, definitely shines through. He helped us with key decisions needed to make our dream a reality. The Superintendent (AJ) was always there when we needed him. The crews were artisans and very professional.

At the end of the project, the technician (Kyle) was very helpful in setting up and showing us the pool equipment. The pool size/shape is perfect, the equipment works like it's supposed to, the spa is gorgeous, the stone work is amazing, the swim up bar is outstanding, the outdoor kitchen is more than we expected, the multiple deck levels provide a very elegant touch, you can gaze at the infinity edge forever, and the lighting is spectacular. It's clear that Cypress Pools takes just as much pride and ownership in the finished project as we do. We couldn't be happier.

Couldn't be happier with our pool build! From start to finish, the pool build process with Cypress Custom Pools was amazing. After meeting with 4 pool builders to discuss our ideas and must-haves, we settled on Cypress Custom, as Gary Curiel's design far exceeded the designs of the other pool builders. Gary was able to take our ideas and create an amazing design that exceeded our expectations.

His presentation most reflected our ideas and hopes for this major product. Other pool builders' design got some aspect of our grand ideas, but missed others. Gary got it spot-on! Prior to contract signing, Gary was great at recommending ways we could better spend our money to get most out of backyard renovation. And once the contract was signed, Cypress Custom was flexible enough, so that when we needed to make changes to materials or specific aspects of the design, they could be done without issue.

Once the project started, we were fortunate to have a great project supervisor in Joe, who worked extremely hard to keep the subs moving and on schedule. He truly made the build process of this project as stress-free as possible. He kept us in the loop in regards to who would be at our house each day and the schedule of work for each week. The Pool Builder app was great also, as the camera allowed us to see real-time progress of the pool, while away at work. Ultimately, my family is thrilled with the completed project, which took about 45 days from excavation to plaster.

Not too bad, as the pool build spanned across the Christmas holidays and a very raining period in Houston. My wife and I feel that the pool we received is far more expensive than for what we paid. Cypress Custom truly delivered with respect to value, service, and quality.

We completed our pool about 1 year ago. We feel in love with the design Matt presented to us. Joe was very good at managing the construction. All the subs were great. Our next door neighbor had a drainage issue after the pool construction and that did take some additional calls to get the landscaper to fix that (they had covered up the french drain on the side yard when they put down new sod). Outside of that issue, we've been incredibly happy with everything about the process and the end product. Excellent quality.

Cypress Pools provided great 3D designs but were very poor at meeting delivery dates and responding to concerns. Without fail the timing I was told for a design to be provided ended up being 3 - 7 days late. When asked about the delays the answer was always we have a lot of construction kicking off and it will get better. Finally after about 3 months I email and called trying to discuss our concerns with the delays and they never reach back out to discuss.

At this point we told them we were going to talk to other pool builders and that's when they finally emailed us back. Their response basically told us it was our fault because we asked for to many revisions to the design. For a $100k+ pool I should be able to revise the design until I'm completely happy with it! They went on to say that they had stop working on the design because they didn't think we could afford the design even though we hadn't even been provided a cost estimate. Cypress Custom Pools seems to design great pools but unfortunately I didn't get that far with them.

If you know exactly what you want or have a straight forward design you will probably will have a great experience but if you will need help figuring out what you like or a difficult design situation works I suggest going elsewhere.

Brian, Matt, Jose, Hope and Ruben were the best! We had a pool and custom bar put in our backyard and it turned out fabulous. This is the second pool that we had done by Cypress Custom. The first one was back in 1999. They were very easy to work with and came in on budget with no hidden expenses or surprises. They went out of their way to ensure that we were a happy customer. We are so excited to enjoy our new backyard for the summer!

The old saying of you get what you pay for it's absolutely true for Cypress Custom Pools. They are not the least expensive pool construction company around, but I definitely believe they are the best. Over the last 10 years I have used them twice to install a pool. That alone should say something. I wouldn't spend that much money with the same company twice if I didn't believe in their product.

This is our third pool to put in. The first one was with another company that was just okay. As I mentioned I have used this company twice since 2007 and would do it a third time too. Their attention to detail, use of quality material, and focus on the customer is beyond outstanding. Their customer service is some of the best I have ever experienced. (and I know exceptional customer service, because I make my living improving customer service) On several occasion they have helped me out on things that should have been outside of normal service or warranty.

Most recently I was having a problem and it was 3:30 PM on a Friday before a holiday. Brian, the owner took the time to call me while he was driving between Austin and Houston and walk me through the steps I need to take to resolve the problem. He then followed up with me again later that night to make sure that everything was working. In summary, I will always recommend this company to anyone needing a pool construction company!
