Holland Pools

Thank you Holland Pools for building the pool we looked over a year for. We had limitations in our yard and your company did not bat an eye nor did you hike up the price because of our obstacles. Everyone we dealt with was professional, helpful, and understanding. We went through several companies before we called Holland and our biggest regret was not calling your company first.

While everyone that came to our home was wonderful we really want to thank Mike Bitner for going above and beyond to make our pool building experience better than we could have ever dreamed it would be. Mike you became part of our family during the short time it took to build our pool but we know it is a friendship that will last a life time. Thank you so much to you and Holland Pools for everything you did to give us the pool that we wanted. We are recommending your company to everyone we know!

Purchased pool through builder from Holland and there have been several major issues. The pool for the most part is beautifully, but be careful and verify all information is correct, specifically verify that the names of the color choices match what is expected as the document signed may have very poor quality photos used. This issue lead to approving the wrong color pavers as the photo seemed to be correct but the color written on the page was not a color I had ever considered and clashed with the house color.

The controller for the salt ionizer was not available prior to closing on the house but was left at my house a month later with a promise that the electrician would come by to install. A month and a half later no electrician and multiple attempts to contact the company have so far resulted in only more promises to get it scheduled.

My family and I spent over $70K for a new Holland pool to go with our new home in Viera. From the first day we moved in there were numerous issues. First, the quality of the pool design was horrible, the pool walls were not squared, the pool pump and Chlorinator had to be replaced, the pool leaked and had to be repaired, the pool screens have had to be tightened because they have come out from the frame, one of the pool lights had to be replaced and the pool deck was repainted because of the poor quality and workmanship, also, they allowed the pool to sit with dirty water in stages of the build that caused the pool surface to stain!

This has all occurred in the past 6 months since Oct 2021, when we closed on our house. I WOULD NOT USE THIS BUISINESS FOR ANYTHING REGARDING A POOL! They are courteous and nice but their workmanship is horrendous! Holland Pools have made the transition to our new home a nightmare!

We reached out to Holland during covid and they were the only company to actully come out in person to look at our lot. Infact they were the only company to hold a conversation with us, other companies would quote by email off pictures of the yard only or not respond at all. They were also best in price and came recommendto us. we called them back Chuck ( awesome guy who since retired) was right back out here in person walking us through every step of what to expect.

We had zoom calls and face to face meetings and once we signed the contract and the permits were approved, from 1st dig up of grass til swimming was just shy of 5 months. They explained the delay of due to the pandemic and quoted 11 months. This clearly blew our expectations away. Whatever hiccups we had they addressed immediately with no fuss and what I feel is most important is they understand my household.

My husband is a veteran with bad social anxiety and OCD they took the time to care and work with me to make sure we were always on the same page about who was coming when so there were no surprises. The contractors they sent were easy to talk to and again anything that came up our project manager Ed addressed same day. We would definitely recommend Holland to our friends and family

Updated Review from 2 stars to 5: After the initial review below, the operations manager had reached out. He set us up with Preston for a new consultation. Preston really came through for us, designing the pool exactly as we had wanted. We appreciate his opinions, guidance and thoroughness. He especially took his time with us and listened to every request and has been extremely responsive on every detail.

He turned a poor experience into a pleasureable one. Thank you. Original: I wish I could recommend Holland Pools but that is a hard No. We were initially excited to meet with them because all other companies were so far behind in consultations. Our rep from Holland Pools assured us they were on hiatus during Covid, did not over extend themselves, were not backlogged at all and beginning builds coming January.

This was on Sept 28! We haven't gotten past a return call or the design. We met with the designer on Sept 28 who seemed excited to design our very unique pool. She promised a design within two weeks. We were happily surprised they are moving quick. Four weeks went by, so we reached out. She lost her phone. Ok. Again she promised the design that Thursday.

A few more weeks passed, we reached out again asking if they were even interested in working with us. She was out sick one week and was catching up. What happened to the other 6 weeks? She assured us that yes, they wanted to work with us and would have the design ready that weekend. That was November 16th. Today is Jan 4th. We have given up on Holland Pools because if that is the customer service provided just for the computer design, we are not interested in tempting their installation process.

According to the initial consult, we should be starting ground breaking this month. We still haven't gotten past a return call or the design. Note: I did not give a 1 rating because we never got the opportunity to meet, talk to or work with anyone else on their other teams so maybe they have hope?

We had a great experience with Holland Pools with the construction and design of our pool/spa and lanai area. The design process with Pete was a lot of fun and he really seemed to get what we were looking to achieve with the appearance of our pool area. Everything came out exactly how we were hoping. So far, we are really enjoying our pool and spa.

The remote app AquaLink is really cool and makes the whole process of monitoring the equipment and using the heater so easy. The crew who recently installed our pavers around the pool and the lanai were excellent as well.

Overall disappointed in the poor quality of the work. Communicated with the Holland service team to correct these issues on numerous occasions and would just go back and forth via email and phone call. Still now over a year later nothing has been corrected. They don't stand behind there work and clearly you can see that in these pictures.

Due to civid we did not go to the showroom. We had a representative come to the house and give us quotes and booklets of materials. We're in the market for a pool and George our representative made it so comfortable during the first steps of our new pool. If the pool turns out as great as the customer service I'll be a happy camper. Update* I ended up going with Holland Pools.

There is a pool shaped hole in the back yard ready for Gunite. Ed, Our project Manager is the Man. He is on the ball and ready when he comes out to our current construction site. Two thumbs up so far.

We usually do not give reviews online at all but for this company we simply have to! Holland Pools have made our dream of swimming in our own screened pool a reality - while dealing with the most unprecedented challenging cirmumstances a business had ever to deal with. Shortages of labour, material, general uncertainty.only to name a few of these serious issues!

We would like to thank Steve at Holland Pools for making the design process super professional and easy to comprehend with all the technical spec involved! Marshall and Brendan in the office were super fast to get our permits done and were always very responsive with any questions we had. But the biggest shout out must go to Richard and Brian for taking the heat, coordinating and managing the serveral contractors during these bizarre times!

All contractors were super professional and ALL did a GRAND job with a smile on their faces! Thank You! From digging the hole to us swimming in our own pool took 4 months, which is exceptional in our opinion, considering the current severe issues small businesses face. The screen company was the biggest hold up because they have to deal with labour and material shortages too.

If it was not for them, our pool enclosure would have been finished even 5 weeks earlier. We definitely recommend Holland Pools to anyone who wants to change their yard into a beautiful pool enclosure - for a very competitive price too! And finally, a BIG Thank You to Holland Pools again for making our Florida dream come true!

Our experiences with Holland Pool have been beaten all our expectations! Our Design Consultant, Steve is efficient, professional, and incredibly pleasant to work with and amazingly patient with us pool-rookies. We really appreciate Steve's ability to simply and directly address any/all our questions/concerns. He is a fountain of knowledge from construction to finishes and screening.

In a word, Holland Pools was awesome! A great experience with Pete designing the pool - super-talented, knowledgeable, and took time to get it right. Installation went exactly as expected, quality of work was exceptional (and I am VERY PARTICULAR about things) and office and field staff friendly, professional and always helpful. Two very minor issues - some touch up painting and a missing screw - were rectified immediately.

And Pete, the go-to guy for answering questions and such, would ALWAYS respond to my e-mails within a few hours; sometimes within minutes! We are extremely happy with the final results - it looks way better than the 3D renderings Pete created - and would highly recommend using Holland Pools. The Allen Family
