I hired them to do the "pool opening" after moving into a new house. I never had a pool before, so I didn't know what "pool opening" meant. The truth is the pool was already open, the previous owners had done it. These guys noticed when they arrived and didn't say a thing, nothing. I don't appreciate the dishonesty, but fair enough, it was my mistake.

They also took some samples of the water to run some tests and told me to wait for a call the next day. Nobody ever called (shocking, right?). When I called them to ask for the test results, they told me no tests were performed, so it turns out I paid $300+ for essentially nothing. I tried to speak to a manager over the phone and surprisingly, they just hung up on me and stopped answering the phone.

I'm afraid I have nothing good to say. This is just a poorly run and managed business. Some people seem to have had good experiences with them, but I can't say the same. Would absolutely not recommend.

Dartmouth Pools & Spas came highly recommended to us. Dan met with us at our home and we were excited about our project, but communication completely stopped about 1.5 months into planning, despite us calling and e-mailing a couple of times to follow up. We were told that we would get a call back but it never happened, despite us being ready to make a deposit. We are disappointed but happy that this did not occur after our project had already begun.

What a clean store and everyone there was so helpful and wanting to help you out I was just simply going there for a part for my swimming pool and then I walked out with more than I could carry I bought a brand new pump for my pool and I'm telling you right now that thing is awesome these guys are great when it comes to pools I'm telling you right now they know what they're doing and I would encourage anyone to go there because if you're having issues with your pool they know exactly what is wrong and how to fix it so why don't you give him a try I like helping small businesses because I own a business myself and I know what it's like it's very hard work and these guys are hard workers so go see them and let them give you the advice that you need to get your pool fixed if it's not the right color then maybe you need to go see them and they can help you out with that too trust me my pool was Green when we opened it we had to drain it all the way to the bottom and then clean it with shop vacs and then add fresh water it took two trailer truck loads and it was very expensive but worth it I didn't want to jump into the green slime trust me it was kind of gross but now my pool is so clear you can see right to the bottom and is nothing wrong with it now so go see these guys they're going to help you out

Dan was very knowledgeable and helped us narrow down the perfect pool for our family at a great price. We felt like we were buying from family. I cannot say enough about how amazing this company is! The staff are delightful, so helpful and accommodating! I have had the need to call them out twice. On both occasions they arrived right on time and got the job done perfectly. Peter came out today and installed a new heater. I am so happy to have my hot tub up and running for Christmas! Thank you all!

So far so good, Dan, Bubba, and my hardscape guy have been keeping the lines of communication open. They are prompt, courteous and professional. More to come as the project continues. Greatly satisfied so far

They did a great job building our gunite pool. There were issues, but they handled them honestly and fairly. Things were a bit delayed, but I think that's to be expected when you plan a spring/summer install.

So I got Darmouth pools to fix my liner last year July 2015 and they a good job, so we hired them to pour new concrete around the pool to fix the whole thing. I paid the deposit in Oct 15. They said if I paid the deposit they would get the work done early so I could enjoy my pool. I started emailing Dan, the store manager in April and he said they are really busy and are looking at their schedule.

After a month of avoiding my calls they said they too busy and cannot fit me in their schedule, mind you they cash my check in Oct 2015 but now they don't have time to do the work. Now I'm in June, busted all the concrete around the pool and no contractors to do the work. They are NOT a good company, and they don't honor their word. I recommend you don't waste your time with them, there are pool companies around them that honor their word and don't make commitments they can complete. They suck

I would highly recommend Dartmouth Pools and Spas. From opening and closings, all types of service and installation we have had nothing but great experiences. The crew is always friendly and courteous. When I go into the store to have my water tested everyone takes their time to explain what is needed at that time and what I can do to keep my pool in great shape all season. I was happy to see some of the new incentives they have. I especially like the new loyalty program which can be a big savings throughout the year
