We would like to thank you for the beautiful and professional job that Jeff Knight, Chip Pickelmann and all of your employees and subcontractors did on our pool. We couldn't be happier! All of our friends and neighbors have complimented on the design and finish. We would recommend Curtis Pools to anyone who wanted a superior pool built.

Chip, We finally finished, and the work that Bob and Andy did was fantastic. I guess at the end the day, perfection takes time. Bob was great explaining about how much time and what it takes to finish. He was great about how the tablet works, and what all the equipment means to the owner. he even gave us his cell, if things are not working. I'm sure you know by now finding people who care about there work is rear, however that is not absent at Curtis Pools. thanks for coming to the site often, and your continuing concern to move the project. Critical: Professionalism 20+ yrs ago, they built my inground spa. It is really nice, but now it needs to be upgraded and rejuvenated. I called, because after 3 weeks, they didn't respond to my email. They said they are only taking new build customers and have no time for loyal customers that have already had an installation that want service. Very sad. Services: General construction, Design

It has been almost a year since Chip and his team handed us "the keys" to our new pool. From design, to permits, to excavation, construction and final completion, Curtis was professional and responsive. We had some bumps along the way but Curtis was anxious to resolve any of the small issues we had - nothing major. A new build can be difficult dealing with permits, inspections, weather, etc. Curtis made this process as painless as possible - this was our third pool build but first in Florida. The finished product met and exceeded our initial concept. We would recommend Curtis to others.

We have had our pool for over a year now. It was a new construction and the timeline they set was exceeded! I have held off on giving the review as I wanted to see how the service end of things worked out. Well it has been exceptional. I have called for warranty issues on equipment and also some cracking I noticed in our spa grout. They came and fixed it until I was satisfied. Awesome to work with, friendly and seem proud of the work they do. It has been a pleasure:-

Curtis Pools built our pool around 2002. They build a great pool with quality equipment that really lasts! We had a very professional, friendly and helpful salesman named Jeff. We had a few hiccups on the project and they handled them to our satisfaction. Our set-up was with a pool, 4 steps down, 1 long bench seat facing the water, one swim platform, 1 short bench seat, a waterfall jacuzzi, controls at the jacuzzi, controls at the equipment station, and controls in the house.
They have been very helpful directing us to the right places to get our replacement parts. We made the mistake of replacing the heater with a different brand that was less expensive. We regret that now. It did not last nearly as long and has required more maintenance than the original one. Roger helped us today with identifying the original one and locating a supplier that can get it for us.
This companies employees stay with them for years! That says a lot about a company. I believe they do not subcontract their pool either which can save you a lot of headache in the process.

A little over eight years ago my wife and I bought our first house in Florida. Since it is Florida one of the items on our wish list was a built-in pool. We called a few pool companies at the time and received estimates. Unfortunately, we could not install the pool at that time but kept all the information we gathered from the various pool companies we thought provided the best options.
One of those companies was Curtis Pools whose designer, Jeff Knight, created a beautiful pool design. Now, eight years later we are ready to take the plunge so I called Curtis Pools and found out Jeff was still there. Great, I thought, can't wait to speak with Jeff. When Jeff called back the first thing he said was "I looked at your yard (Google Maps I assume) and there's no way to fit a pool in there." I told Jeff he provided us with a design eight years ago and gave him the dimensions of the pool. Jeff then said even if we agreed Curtis Pools would install the pool we would need to wait until September before we could get on the installation schedule.
I said that would not be a problem if Curtis was the company we chose. At that point I asked Jeff when he could come out and provide us with a new estimate. Having kept all the literature from before, I thought it would be a simple process. Jeff said he had absolutely no time to do that. I'm thinking to myself "that is very strange, aren't you in the business to sell and install pools?" I wasn't exactly sure what to say at that point and said to Jeff "I get the impression you don't want my business." Jeff said he wanted my business but then said "I can't get to you at any time.
I just don't have the time with it being summer and getting slammed." I confusedly said OK and Jeff then wished me luck in my search and we hung up. So think about this exchange if you call Curtis Pools for an estimate on a new pool installation. Is Jeff or Curtis Pools going to be able to find the time to service you even after you have your pool installed? I'm grateful I found out before contracting with Curtis Pools. Maybe this will help you in your decision making process. It certainly did us.

Very poor company, I can't believe they're still in business, They built my pool in 2013 & was leaking from day one & when I called them they kept saying it's evaporation despite the fact that I told them I have to add salt & acid constantly, I had to hire a leak detection company that found a broken pipe under the lani that softened the deck & after we repaired the broken pipe the pool kept leaking again & we found multiple leaks in the tile seals that has to be replaced.
This is a company that doesn't do the work right & doesn't stand for its work, I know of two other people with same problems with this company. I would never consider this company

I tried getting a quote from them over the Summer of 2013 and then just again in Feb 2014 and they just do not seem like they need or want the work. I read great reviews, but to me it seems like it's on their terms only just to get a quote. I would hate to see what it would be like after you gave them some money.
